On Friday 18th ATIC's Art Therapist Sara Powell and Nada Abu Qaoud were in Abu Dhabi Art festival under SEDRA Founation promoting the importance of inclusion of people with additional needs. With adult workshops for children and adults. "During our workshop participants and community reflected on what it felt like to be stripped of one of our sesnse, although frustrating for many, particiapnts were able to create meaningful artworks and were in fact able to overcome their additional challnege while relying on an inner strength and resilency. Similarly SEDRA was showcasing the art work of amazing and incredible women who have additional needs but their additional needs did not prevent them from achieving their fullest potential and in sharing their beautiful talents. We learn so much from diversity and the world would most definaely be a boring place if we were all the same."
