ok so i live in sedro woolley, and from time to time i like to look up sedro woolley on here see if there's anything funny here on tumblr. and i saw your "never enter sedro woolley" thing, and all i can say is:
TRUE. SO TRUE.
lmaoo that is awesome
Is the true part that you learned the compass from it or that nobody should ever enter Sedro Woolley bc... same lol
(Also I grew up in the valley so I never thought the name was weird, but now looking at it this many times I'm thinking it's the weirdest name ever? Like what does it even mean)
The Sedro-Woolley Rodeo (part of the week long Loggerodeo Celebration) happens each year at the 4th of July.
For us locals here in Sedro-Woolley, this is our time to shine, we have a parade, chain saw carving and more cool stuff.
This year the rodeo was held on two days, July 3rd at 6pm and on the 4th at 2.
I opted for the evening show. The weather was perfect, and there was a huge crowd.
Behind the fences the riders get themselves ready.

Then they climb up on the platform.

There are a whole bunch of people around making sure it all goes well.

and then they’re off!

First Annual Sedro-Woolley Color Run!
I was asked to cover the event and had a blast!
At the end of the race a met a group who recently finished, near the old bowling alley… asked them to do a bit of posing, and well, you can see for yourself…
