“. . . Arthur?” Martin questions at the sudden lolli that was now in the steward’s possession.

“I couldn’t find a flower shop, Skipper, but I found a sweets one!” he grins, the smile looking very in place with the sweet in Arthur’s hand.

“Well. . . Why would you need to find a flower shop, though?” He wonders aloud.

“It’s nice to have a flower or two when asking someone out, isn’t it?”

“Who exactly are you asking out, though?”

His face goes blank for a split second, immediately laughing with glee.

“Oh! Sorry, Skip, but, well. . . Do you wanna go out on a date?” 

Martin feels his face flush hotly at Arthur’s answer, his mind going blank for just a moment. 

“Alright.” He hears himself say, his mind racing for a second at his answer.

But when he sees Arthur just beam and the steward’s eyes just light up; he smiles himself, knowing that he really wanted to go on a date with his friend.

“Brilliant!”
