hey thank you for this sweet ask..! i think i say it a lot but i'm genuinely always (happily) surprised to see other people connect with my work at all... to me it often all feels too personal and self indulgent and inconsistent to truly resonate with an audience, and i'm grateful for the reminder that that is not necessarily always the case.
ever since you sent this ask in i've been chewing slowly on the phrase "accomplished creator" in my brain, bc it surprised me so much. i don't think i've ever thought of myself as accomplished (not that that's a bad thing at all! i've just never considered what i do to be what one would typically regard as successful or masterful or anything. again, not that that's a bad thing. i think as long as you are always meeting yourself at the threshold of your own passion then that's always successful enough). but as i chew, i do really appreciate your kind words..! its very sweet that you felt so strongly about my art and stories and work that you felt the need to tell me, and asks like this always make me smile. and like i said: i'm generally always blown away to hear that my work has had any positive impact at all on anyone, and grateful that it resonated with you.
