Well fancy that, I was on your blog read some of your lovely work just as you answered my ask about which AU's you enjoyed writing about. Well now, because of that I have to pick one about Soul-Mates, don't I X3. May I request a Soul-Mate AU for the seeing colour once you meet them for a female S/O and Inasa meeting during the hero licensing exam. If this is an okay request and you like Inasa enough. I really like him he's so sweet.
I’m not overly familiar with Inasa as a character, but I’ll give a whirl! :D
AU: Soulmates - Seeing Color
Inasa Yoarashi
“I see you finally made it!” You wave at Todoroki as he enters the anteroom. He looks surprised to see you. “I thought for sure you would be first.” You grin to show you mean no ill intent in your words. Todoroki takes a seat next to you and hums in response. “You want somethin’ to drink? Tea, milk, water?”
“I’m fine.” And then as an afterthought. “Thank you though.”
“Sure, sure!” You make your way to the nearest table and grab a bottle of green tea and a pack of crackers. Turning you make eye contact with a tall young man, in a bulky costume. He’s the one that eliminated 120 examinees at once, right? He’s crazy powerful. Deciding to do some recon on the competition, you bounce over to him. “Yo! You’re that Inasa guy, yeah?”
“Inasa Yoarashi! That's me!” The enthusiastic boy thrusts out his hand. “If I remember correctly, you’re one of the students from U.A?!”
“Yup!” You take his hand in your own. “The name’s–” But the words got caught in your throat as the world around you explodes with color. You jerk your hand away from his. Your gaze drops to your costume, your skin and hair. Your head whips around and you see Todoroki, (his hair and his eyes are two different colors! Had they always been like that?) who is looking at you with mild confusion. Small explosions seem to be going off in your stomach as you turn back to the Shiketus student, your eyes round and wondering.
The normally talkative and exuberant boy is silent. He gazes at you with pure astonishment, he seizes both your hands in his. “You! You can see color too?!”
“Y-yeah! Of course, I can!” You splutter, going slightly red at his proximity.
“This… THIS IS AMAZING!” Inasa bellows at the top of his lungs and everyone in the room is startled into silence. “I met my soulmate here of all places!” Without preamble, he scoops you up into his arms and spins you around with unadulterated joy. “And as if things couldn’t get better, it’s a pretty girl!”
You could feel your face getting hotter at each word coming out of his mouth. “I-Inasa? Could you put me down…?”
“Oh! Right!” Light as a feather he places you back on the floor and then bows deeply from the waist. “I’m sorry for startling you!”
“It’s fine! I totally get it!” You assure him rather sheepishly. “But um, because we are kinda in the middle of getting provisional licenses, c-can we catch up later? I feel like we would get distracted if we stick together…” You felt bad just by saying it.
“Sounds good!” Completely unfazed by the words Inasa agrees readily. He places a hand on your shoulder and warmth in his eyes catches your attention. “I’ll see you after then.”
“Yeah.” You excuse yourself and retake your seat next to Todoroki.
“…he’s your soulmate?”
“Shut up!”
