Tagged by @di-wild. I’m both flattered and ‘oh you mean I have to COME UP WITH THINGS?’ I will try.
1. While he’s normally not a particularly selfish person, Seeker is extremely possessive about his Eldan research. He is secretly of the opinion that he’s just about the only person who can figure out Eldan tech without going power-crazy and abusing the knowledge it brings, or just fucking it up completely. In his view, the Dominion and the Exiles are equally guilty of this.
2. His best friend until he defected was a cheerful lowborn Cassian named Jonas Solari. Jonas was always the sun to Seeker’s shadow, and Seeker had an intense crush on him for years without saying anything, believing Jonas to be a bit too head-in-the-clouds to ever really notice. Yeah, good try, Seeker. Jonas knew all along.
3. As much as he claims to have severed all ties with his family, Seeker still holds fond memories of playing on the floor of his mother’s sitting room as a small child. He’d either be making forts out of spare fabric from her massive collection, or crawling around trying to find a button she dropped. Ooh, shiny.
4. His favourite food is a cucumber. Definitely not just because of the shape.
5. Seeker rarely holds grudges after a situation is resolved. He tries to be pragmatic about it, finding it a wasted effort to keep being angry about something that’s over and done with. There are, of course, a few exceptions. Most of them are family members.
6. He is extremely attracted to long hair when it comes to other men.
7. He hates the idea of other people having any kind of power or hold over him, which likely leads to his suspicion of any sort of authority figure. This is also why he cultivated his mannerisms to be deliberately hard to read.
8. His greatest fear is helplessness.
9. His favourite book series as a child was a string of fairy tales in which the Eldan featured prominently. Ironically, he believed most of them.
10. He’s still the current record-holder in Fantastic Enterprises for ‘most shots drunk in the shortest time’. He regrets this. So much.
11. While he’s desperately in love with Farid for any number of reasons, he has a gnawing insecurity about their relationship in that he hasn’t really worked out yet why Farid wants to be with him.
12. Seeker will never admit that he’s actually pretty scared of Mechari. T66 has done very little to ease this fear, hence why Seeker ends up getting extremely hostile around him.
13. Seeker has some major PTSD from the months he spent with the Dominion on the Grimvault front. It was this horrific experience that ultimately pushed him to defect. Given the choice, he would wipe that time from his memory completely.
14. Although he’s not terribly close to many of his crew members, in a pinch he would give his life for any one of them.
15. He has a massive burn scar in his lower back shaped like a twisted sun, courtesy of an Eldan/Osun construct that lasered him in Arcterra. It’s a reminder of when he was emotionally in a very dark place, and thus he tends to be quite self-conscious about it, preferring to hide it whenever possible.
