How do you hang an idiot upside down? It’s easy: you put him in a tree, and wait for his sister to throw a fit and demand he get out of it. And of course the idiot teases her, and she give this angry little pout, cartoon steam puffs flying across the screen from her face. Sure, she looks ten years old, but Ever is stronger than Riley looks, and she’s going to shake that three until Vanden falls out.
And all of this noise draws over a certain redhead, who “just happened to be in the area”, as people say when they either have a secret or don’t have a reason.
The twins don’t notice her at first—Ever’s got both her arms around the tree trunk and shaking it, Vanden’s giggling like a little girl at her futile attempt—but Tasmin is there, and she doesn’t understand what the hell is going on.
And then there’s a very unmanly shriek, branch cracking, and HALLELUJAH IT’S RAINING MEN!
—wait, no, it’s just Vanden, caught upside-down on a low branch in front of the human. So that is what's going on. Idiot, idiot, idiot.
“Tasmin! Hi!” Hey, he knows her name! And she looks surprised. Probably more because he just mostly fell out of a tree in front of her than the name thing, but who knows. Mister Telepath doesn’t poke around in peoples’ heads unless he has to do a vampire thing. But how does one explain this situation, with his babydoll of a sister becoming the Incredible Hulk, and his wimpy fainting ass not being splattered all over the ground right now?
Well, if you can’t dazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with your bullshit. A distraction is always good, right? So both if his stupid noodle arms lift up, hands pressed carefully to her cheeks—he still has broken fingers that refuse to heal—and his lips against hers. Vanden doesn’t feel as porcelain as he looks, and Tasmin is a lot warmer than the sassy mean vampires he’s always around—

Kasanoda laughed, shaking his head. "Well now I've gotta real clear picture of him." he teased. "But it's alright if ya ain't sure, you don't have to be right off the bat. Jus' take your time, y'know? There ain't a deadline, you don't gotta hurry."

Sayori couldn't help but giggle at his responce. "Y-You sound like you're speaking from e-experience, Ritsu-kun!" But than her blush grew a little deeper, and a smile suddenly graced her lips. "I've never actually liked a-anyone before, but n-now I think that I...--" And then she stopped. "T-Thank you! You really helped m-me out."
Kasanoda chuckled a bit. "That's 'cause I am." With a wry sort of grin, he casually tossed an arm around his friend's shoulders, nodding as though he were a seasoned veteran. "But past knowin' that you like somebody, I ain't the person to come to for advice. When it comes to everything past that, I'm about as clueless as you are." he grinned some more, before his expression softened, something few people other than Sayori ever saw.
"But if ya ever need anybody to listen, I'm your guy. An' I'll be here to support ya every step of the way, no matter what happens."
