I'd be very surprised if they caught fire! lol Wigs are made of synthetic fibers closer to plastic. Some of them are heat resistant and hold curls and can be straightened, but most low quality ones and a lot of older wigs will just melt if high heat touches them. I'll be testing this wig and see if it has any resistance to heat which would allow me to just use a curling iron on it. And if that doesn't work, I'll be using the hot water method to curl it more.

I use it to spread out my posts so I’m not just spamming people for the hour or two I’m on tumblr. :’)

See these don't make sense to me, this is why I find the queue unnecessary - why does your blog have to be running constantly, you aren't online constantly and nobody expects you to be? And also I guess I just enjoy seeing spam posts or whatever because it's like aww that person is really into x thing right now, and my brain's just too in-the-moment to understand why you wouldn't want your followers to enjoy 'RIGHT NOW' this thing you're reblogging, idk.

A friend messaged me and said he uses it so that he can see something funny/interesting pop up again in a few days, or if he's reblogging something that like a bunch of mutual friends have reblogged from one another just so that it doesn't show the same thing a bunch in a row. I understand those much better than 'oh I want my blog to be running constantly' because...why?
