Sims 4 Gameplay Challenge Infographics FAQ

I will continue to update this post as I get more faqs. 💜 Feel free to send me a message or comment a question directly on the post.

1. What challenges have I made graphics for?

All of my graphics posts have the "Sims 4 Challenge Graphics" tag. I've also made a list here, but I may forget to update it sometimes. 😅

2. How do I make my graphics?

I make all of my graphics from scratch on Photoshop. Due to the time involved with making each set, I do not share the uncompressed files with layers.

3. Where do I get the Sims 4 icons used in the graphics?

I download the icons from LuniverSims.

4. Can you use the graphics on your social media?

It depends! I do not allow reposts of my graphics, especially without credit. If you are using the graphics to track your own gameplay, then yes, feel free to use them and show them in your own gameplay. Just please do not claim them as your own or attempt to remove my watermarks. Linked credit in the description is also appreciated.

5. Will I make graphics for the challenge you want?

I welcome suggestions for new challenges to create graphics for. However, I want to be transparent about my availability and working conditions:

• Availability: I work full-time during the week and only have limited free time to work on graphics.

• Deadlines: I have ADHD and struggle with object permanence, which means I may lose track of tasks without set deadlines.

Due to these factors, while I may add your suggested challenge to my list, I cannot guarantee if or when I will be able to work on it. If you require a specific deadline, this would be treated as a commission, for which I would charge a fee.

6. How do commissions work?

I currently offer three types of infographic commissions:

BASIC Legacy Template – $2 per generation DETAILED Legacy Template – $4–5 per generation Single-Page Challenge Infographic – Starting at $15

7. If I commission you, what's the turnaround time?

The minimum lead time is 1 week for every 5 graphics. It can be faster or slower, depending on outside factors, but I will keep you informed through the process via DM.

I've been asked a few times, so, yes!! I am working on adding the new Reaper & Fairy generations to this image set. However, Asphodel Moon is still making some tweaks to the requirements, so I've not completed/shared them yet.

In the meantime, I have updated the Ghost generation to include her additions since the release of the Life & Death EP. 💜

Hi long time fan of your graphics! I was wondering if you were planning or interested in going back and editing/adding the new generations to the Occult Legacy challenge set, Asphodel Moon tweaked the Ghost gen and added a Reaper and Fairy gens!

I have this in progress, currently. 💜 I was just chatting about it yesterday with Asphodel, actually! Lol She hasn't settled on the aspiration for Reaper or additional requirements for Fairy, so she'll be letting me know when it's all updated so I can share the new graphics.

New Horizons Challenge by @simbersanders

Inspired by several other challenges, this is a creative blend of The Sims 4 and Animal Crossing New Horizons that encourages you to build and create your own Sims world through a guided 5-generation legacy!

Hi there, for the Sims in Bloom Legacy challenge in the graphics for gen Lily says max cooking skill but the original document said max gemology. I do not know if it is one or the other that we have to do?

Hi! I made the infographics for the challenge back in July 2023. The original challenge has been updated since then to include additional skills and game features, such as the Gemology skill, which came with the Crystal Creations GP that was released in February 2024.

That is all to say that you should follow the challenge posted by @a-sims-garden for the most up-to-date rules.💜

Maybe this is a sign for me to update and re-release that set. 🤔

Basic Template Includes:

3-6 uniform categories with large icons

Rules appear as a clean bullet list

Hey! :) I had an idea for a challenge I think could be fun, the “One Pack Legacy Challenge” (or something like that). Each generation would explore a different pack with the Base Game, in the order they were released (like Base Game + Get to Work, Base Game + Get Together, etc.). It could help players dive deeper into each pack since the game feels a bit overwhelming with so many now. Could you create something along those lines?

I've seen a few people who have created challenges like this. This is the most up-to-date one I can find:

where do you make your graphics?

I create all of the challenge graphics from scratch in Photoshop. The only things I don’t make myself are the icons, which are in-game assets.

I don't have an exact date, but please know that I've been thinking about this challenge at least every other day since the last episode I uploaded. 😅 It's not abandoned. Fanfic is a free hobby.

It's one of the last few things we can have as a society that's free. You can engage, for free. People give you things (art, stories, etc), for free.

Don't buy into the consummerism just because it's everywhere else.

You don't have to consume everything you interact with. You don't have to use things, just because they exist.

You're allowed (still, for now), to have things that are enjoyable for free.

Do you realise how insane the world is? We don't have many places where we can just be, for free anymore, but ao3 is. Did you notice we don't have ads in ao3? We don't have pop ups? Where ELSE do we not have that?

Where else can you just go and not have to wait for a commercial to be over or for ads to be on the sidelines?

I don't think the younger people understand, but the whole of internet used to be like this. YouTubers would do Youtube for free, just because. You couldn't monetise your internet presence before.

Ao3 is like a little preserved corner of the internet where the old internet used to be, and it's being attacked by people who do not understand that free things are allowed to exist without judgment.

Please don't ruin this for us.

I realized I never posted this here. Lol I do not use free use templates for my graphics. I've been using photoshop for over 15 years, self taught & 🏴‍☠️ because I'm poor but adobe is unfortunately an industry standard. This is why I get upset when people repost my stuff and remove credit. 😢
