Man, Tell them it’s his world, though we know it’s girls’. It’s the season and we want to pamper them.

Sometimes giving the perfect gift can be a little bit complicated, it seems like nowadays there are more options for them. They’ve realized of the power of give..and receive.

That’s why i’ve prepared the gift set for men-not including the gadgets that his aunt and uncle can gift him. If this is our special man, the following set can be the best idea:

The belt, yes the finishing touch is made with it. The accessory just remind your man is a looking good, buy him the right one. The small yet strong piece can be the lighter. The Tangled heart.

A piece with beauty in its origin has been transformed to show all the potential it has:

Freedom in the industry (3D printing).

At the beginning it was called futuristic, today it can be said this is not a tomorrow’s topic, 3D printing is providing us a vast utility. In 2011 Iris Van Herpen, pioneer of the 3D printing fashion industry, caught everybody by surprise and dared to put technology, design and fashion together within this method. And from that moment, the “daring ones” have been increasing.

Freedom of creation?, precisely by the infinite possibilities that this -technique- offers when designing and creating, is that not only fashion designers and students of the major have join the path of 3D printing. There are brands like Nike, Adidas, Macy’s, Victoria’s Secret, and Katy Perry- Oh darling! let’s accept it, Katy Perry is person but a brand too- that have used 3D printed fashion items, which besides than just resulting attractive, are useful.  In Shanghai, Xuberance, has a line of printed wedding dresses. It’s a matter of taste but, thanks to this diversity of tastes and styles, now even men have the option to wear printed bows at their wedding. And yet stay fashion.

For many people this topic is outlandish, from the creation process to the design result. It took a student more than 2000 hours to print the whole fashion collection made for her Fashion Design degree’s final project and other designer in Panama printed a swimsuit in 90 hours. By the way both results were great. There could be the exactly reason why some people reject the idea and many others have been captivated.

Whichever is our reaction, we’ll be slightly wearing 3D printing. Your accessories soon will come from this machines,  either if you love a minimal or a way too more baroque style. It seems that now 3D printing can create all types of designs and many avant-gardes are experimenting on the field already.

Love it or hate it, somehow Fashion 3D printing is today.

A beautiful paradox, the new Gucci Collection.

I suppose we all saw the serpent, the leaves that reminded me about the garden of Eden, some Chinese flashes and the 70’s influences dancing everywhere in Alessandro Michele’s new collection for Gucci. What’s more intriguing is that mentioning this details is to just talk about a slice of the whole cake that Michele gave us in this work.

The new Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro, is giving us a conversation we must have. Here, he’s talking about debauchery, androgyny and conventionalism in one design. To me: the past and present embracing tomorrow.
