A Blessed Segerblot and Lá Bealtaine to Everyone Who Celebrates It Today

Good Afternoon, I hope Everyone is having a great day! I'm taking a moment to wish Everyone a blessed Bealtaine to Everyone who celebrates It today. I personally don't celebrate any festivals by the Grigorian Calender, so My personal Bealtaine celebration won't happen until later this Grigorian month, as well as the start of both the next Lunar Month, as well as the next Lunar Year for that matter, by My own personal Calender. Like I said, I hope Everyone celebrating Bealtaine today is having an excellent One, and I hope the Gods bless You!

Also, I want to wish Everyone an amazing Segerblot! This evening begins My three night celebration of this festival, and I'm looking forward to it! I'm still a bit surprised by how late It's being this year, but I guess that's just how the Lunisolar cycles flow! The fact that a New Moon hit Us on the same day that both the Spring Equinox came out about this Grigorian year, as well as a New Moon coming around the same time that the Winter Solstice happened last Grigorian year, tripped Me up and made any attempts at balancing out the Calender a pain in My ass for a hot minute!

Forn Sed Cascadia Sommarblot (Part 2 of 2)

On June 4th members and guests of Forn Sed Cascadia held what could be called a Sommarblot, in late observance of Segerblot and early observance of Midsommarblot. The ceremony was done at an SCA event called June Faire near Bremerton, WA; warranting historical garb as well.

Set 2 of 2 Some members and friends of Forn Sed Cascadia held a joint Segerblot and Majblot celebration this past saturday! There aren’t any photos from after the ceremony itself due to low camera batteries, but hopefully these help to show a good time had by all.

Min dikt och sång för Segerblot. Tusen tack till Titibaka för hjälpen med vokabulären i ett par ord. :) Sommarens eld vi välkomnar ikväll. Nu kommer liv till det sovande landet. Solen skiner ljust i skyn. Kom med goda gudar och väsen. Höj ditt horn för att hälsa makterna. Säg nu ord om seger och glädje. Vi sänder ut våra offer. Med dryck och sång segerblot firas. Översättning/Translation: The summer's fire we welcome tonight. Now comes life to the sleeping land. The sun shines bright in the sky. Come now good gods and beings. Raise your horn to hail the powers. Say now words of victory and joy. We send out our sacrifices. With drink and song is the Victory Sacrifice celebrated.
