HI again!! Just dropping by to say that I've finished reading through all of No Sweet Talk (thanks for your website, it really is a lot easier to navigate haha) and just.. oh gosh! I can't emphasize this enough, but thank you SO MUCH for writing this piece, and sharing it!! It's absolutely beautiful and definitely a very emotional piece.. and I can see A LOT of thought and work was put into it! I really enjoyed this piece! So thank you, again!!

I really loved watching the characters just… grow.. and develop… over time… breaking off from certain relationships .. and building new ones… and also some rebuilding… just… very well done piece!! Also! At first, I was confused by the interior design images/etc when I first stumbled on this place… but, after reading through the epilogue and everything… it was just so so nice.. and lovely… and I’m so glad for the images/visualization :)! That’s a lot of thoughts and work put into this piece!

LIKE, AT THE END, I JUST FEEL VERY GLAD FOR THE CHARACTERS … LIKE YESSS!!!! I’M SO GLAD THAT THEY’RE HAPPY.. WITH THEMSELVES/WHO THEY ARE, WHERE THEY’RE AT IN LIFE .. AND THE PEOPLE IN THEIR LIFE … :) the up’s and down’s they’ve faced, internal struggles, external struggles… just… all of it.. like.. so many elements well woven into this piece… SO YES THANK YOU, AGAIN AND AGAIN!! FOR TELLING THIS STORY & SHARING IT!!

Oh yes!!! Lastly (or else I’ll never stop rambling haha) … I really enjoyed the epilogue with .. the interview of kagakise and their home… it was super cute! and the thoughts put into it … I especially loved the.. bits about the guest rooms … just super sweet (I mean, the whole house just screams the both of them combined.. very nice) &&just yea!! their personality in an ‘future/if’ situation really shined through; I think you gave them a lot of dimension and just.. really lovely :) Thank you!

It was really hard to respond to this because I am simply overwhelmed and I can’t stop smiling. You’ve said so much and I feel bad because I’m kind of speechless. I’m very happy and proud that you enjoyed their story, especially because I probably won’t get another chance. I can usually only see one future for a couple unless I write a real AU (and I prefer to leave those storylines for my original work). So, this is my one big effort for KagaKise. And it makes me incredibly happy that you got so much out of it!

For the interiors… I don’t draw anymore, but I really like the idea of visual elements to go with my stories. I think what someone chooses to fill their home with says a lot about them. Though now, I wish I could draw them in that space.

So yeaa I just wanted to say THANKS for writing this story and sharing it ..!!! It's very unique.. and I love the storytelling narrative and the details and the relationships ... and the themes!!!! AND!!! I love all the tidbits about the setting/places/events/etc..!! I actually learned a lot from this story??? Very nicely done...!!! I think about this fic from time to time and just aaahh I'm so glad to see that it has closures & an epilogue even..!!! I WISH I FOUND THIS BLOG SOONER AAahhh!!!!

You are so very welcome! I’m pleased to know that it sticks with you a bit. I enjoyed writing it and I even had to take a break from writing certain parts because I was making myself cry, so to know that someone else feels some of what I felt, it just means the world to me.

HELLO!!! I just found this blog and am very excited because I reallyreallyreally love "No Sweet Talk" ..!! I followed it on AO3.. about a year ago?? It was one of the most interesting fics I've read and I really enjoyed it!! I've always regretted not really leaving any comments but gosh I reallyreally love this piece! I'm so glad to see that it's still around/on tumblr here now!! And that there's all these supplementary stuffs for it!! I'M SO EXCITED TO GO THROUGH EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW AAAaah!!

Goodness! I can hear your excitement and it’s really contagious. THANX so much! I’m glad you found me and the boys again. And I guess it’s just in time because it will be ending this weekend. I don’t know if that’s good news or bad news, but the story has come to an end and if you want to read it through (without the “keep reading”), I’ll be posting a link to it where it is on my site on Monday. It’s a much more accessible format.

TATSUYA WHISPERING THAT HE ISN’T DRUNK (ok maybe a liiiiiiitle) and alex patting his head and saying of course he’s not and taiga worrying ‘should we get him home?’ as tatsuya sorta falls asleep on alex’s shoulder and alex is like ‘nah if u wanna stay & dance....’ but they end up all getting a cab together anyway and having sleepy sweet drunk tatsuya all to themselves (altho they’re all p tired so they just fall asleep as soon as they get in the house anyway)

5. Nicknames? Pet names? Any in-jokes?I used to really be into Aomine calling Midroima “Shin” but now it’s more like....it kind of feels forced haha. I’m not really a fan. For the most part they’ll call each other by name...although sometimes Aomine calls Midorima “baby” and stuff (Midorima acts all annoyed, but...if it’s Aomine it’s okay. Some of the time). In addition to their cliquey Teikou in-jokes...they’ve got a few. Aomine likes to nudge Midorima when he’s reminded of one of them and Midorima will get the reference immediately.

33. What kind of presents do they get each other? Do they only do it on special occasions?They get each other practical things...Aomine buys Midorima books sometimes...they get each other things they can both enjoy (sports tickets, weekend trips, etc). It’s mostly special occasions but sometimes they’ll see something and think of the other person and get it and give it to him right then rather than wait x months for birthday/anniversary/valentine’s etc.

34. Do they have any pets?A crayfish?? Hahaha I see Aomine as an animal lover and Midorima as just not very good with animals so it would be hard for him to get used to the idea of a pet. But something like a crayfish that’s relatively low-maintenance and in a tank where it can’t pinch him is a good way to get Midorima‘s feet wet (Aomine wants to work his way up to a rabbit or a dog someday).

36. What’s their greatest strength as a couple? Their weakness?Their greatest strength is persistence, but it’s also their greatest weakness...sometimes they’re arguing and they go too far but don’t stop and end up saying things that really, really hurt.

42. Do they let each other get away with things that would normally bother them?Yeah, since things that used to bother them about each other don’t as much any more...they get used to it haha. And they spend so much time together they can’t complain every time it happens, so...they definitely give each other a free pass on being bothersome (of course, it’s harder for Aomine to annoy Midorima when he wants to, but...he sees it as a challenge)
