seineijashu asked: ❥✗☾❣♆♥
idk some headcanon meme // not accepting // @seineijashu
❥ : Describe a verbal way they would express complete trust.
"I have you.” Because it goes both ways.
✗ : Explain how they portray feelings of hostility or dislike
On the surface, Kabuto remains very level-headed when dealing with those he dislikes or hates. His go-to is to clench his jaw and smiles while secretly fantasizing about their demise. As a spy his personal feelings towards others don’t matter so it’s very hard to catch him letting the mask slip unless he wants you to. But that doesn’t mean he’ll forget your discretion either. Kabuto is an incredibly petty, jealous person who will put you on his kill list without a second thought. You may not die today or tomorrow but one day when you’ve long forgotten how you pissed him off Yakushi Kabuto will orchestrate a very tragic accident. So I guess to answer the question Kabuto deals with feelings of dislike by murder.
☾ : On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?
Bold of you to assume Kabuto sleeps. Depends. Sometimes he can be found sitting at the kitchen table, sipping on tea or coffee. Other times he’ll be with Orochimaru entangled in the sheets and afterglow. In canon he might go down to the labs and putter around with menial tasks. He uses the time to let his mind wander and think about anything from petty grievances to complex problems. In modern he can be spotted reading medical journals and making notes. You’ll never find him doing nothing.
❣: Describe a way that will earn affection (whether platonic or romantic) from them.
If you pre-empt what he needs, even if it’s in a small way. He’s not used to be people stepping in and being reliable. Kabuto has a very ‘do everything yourself’ mentality. The hardest part is probably getting him to allow you to be decisive. Most people don’t get far enough for him to trust them to do a good job.
♆ : Are they prone to violent outbursts or thoughts?
His thoughts are constantly riddled with the violence, usually over relatively petty issues. He’s definitely someone who finds it therapeutic to to imagine the thousand different ways he could murder you. Kabuto manages to contain himself most of the time, but it’s the equivalent of putting a tight lid on a pressure cooker. Eventually he erupts. There are a few clear triggers for his violent outbursts, usually involving instances which challenge his worldview. Kabuto maintains a very black and white view of human nature. While he understands there is technically a lot of nuance he dislikes the idea that said nuances provide uncertainty in his analysis of situations, people, ect. Those who act foolishly based on love, friendship, or for intangible ideals are idiots in his mind. When they espouse their philosophies they run a real chance of pissing him off. Their views challenge the very nature of his own cynical understanding of the world and portray a level of unconditional security and comradery which he has never had.
♥ : Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.
Everything. Kabuto is actually a very emotionally based individual. This has proven unfortunate as he favours a hyper-rational approach to life. Such a duality has often left him attempting to rationalize the irrational. Get mad at a 12 year old Naruto for risking his life to protect those he loves? Totally rational. Kill subordinates who may get too close to Orochimaru out of preemptive jealousy? Totally rational. Inject the DNA of Orochimaru and then start a war in his memory after his untimely demise? Totally. Rational.
how does radonis feel about nevarra and the mortalitasi?
That… varies and depends on a lot of factors.
During Inquisition, Nevarra and Tevinter are on the verge of going to war and Radonis is not happy with that. He makes it extremely clear in Magekiller that having to hold a double front, in the south and in the north, would be disastrous and absolutely unfeasible.
Now… Radonis doesn’t like King Markus Pentaghast. He thinks the man is weak and manipulable and, granted, if Radonis were the one to manipulate him then he would at least tolerate the presence as something useful. As things are, it’s more likely that Markus is in the hands of the Mortalitasi themselves.
The Mortalitasi are mages who perform ritualistic-religious magic and who have political influence, despite being technically under the influence of the Southern Chantry. Philosophically, their doctrine is actually Tevinter in origin (founded by Tevinter mage Vitus Fabria who was advisor of Caspar Pentaghast). Radonis is neutral towards them as far as their spiritual/magical ideas go, politically speaking he finds himself between respecting them for how they inserted themselves in the world of politics and power despite restrictions and watching them warily and attentively — more or less for the same reason. They have power, they are to be taken into account if he wants to mess with the Nevarran rule.
Now, the war itself was quite obviously being instigated by the Venatori, who had not only infiltrated the Mortalitasi but were also controlling King Markus with blood magic. That’s not enough of a reason to make a blanket statement about Nevarra, in Radonis’ opinion. His… feelings towards the nation as a whole are probably as blurred as they can only get when a possibly hostile foreign power is also historically tied to your own, as Nevarra used to be a Tevinter “city state”. Also at least one Archon was half Nevarran (half Planasene because that was the name of the tribe back then, but).
All in all, it may well feel like side-eyeing hard your slightly-more-southern relative.
you know damn well i try and dominate everything i can.
It’s no secret that within the fishbowl society of Otogakure that Karin has a big mouth and an ear to the floor; it is perhaps one of the highest sources of prideーand powerーfor her, the ability to talk smack and not risk her life for it. Usually. It would be incredibly stupid of her not to use this small privilege every now and then. ❝Is that so?❞ A sly look, the red of her lashes hangs low over her eyes. ❝That’s not what I heard…❞ The quirk of her lips, gloss capturing the flickering light. An unworldly mouth. ❝Very loudly, might I add. Your room walls are pretty thin.❞ Right, now she’s definitely pushing it.
'pain is weakness leaving the body' (eyes emoji)
@seineijashu || meme || concussion!
‘ your ... mom’s a weakness leaving the body. ’ the words are strained, slurred, like he’d been drinking and he got kicked in the gut, or something. despite the half-assed insult, he continues gripping orochimaru’s biceps to hold himself some semblance of upright. it’s simply not every day someone is fast enough to cold-clock him right in the face, and well -- frankly he feels like he’s drowning. it’s the mask, the blood, sticking to his skin. ‘ did we win? ’
@seineijashu || ( clinical trials ) and tribulations.
It took only a moment to realize that there was now company in the room, but it was several clicks of the clock before the hunched figure lifted their eyes. They had been staring at a computer screen for so long, it took a moment for them to stop squinting.
Sasori regarded the other quietly, tongue pressed to the roof of their mouth. Their initial thought was-- disinterest, but it was colored around the edges with annoyance at the unexpected interruption. They idly thought that they might recognize this person-- or, perhaps were supposed to be expecting them. Their schedule book was halfway across the desk, though, so there was no way to confirm without being obvious. Clearing their throat, they turned in the office chair to fully face their...’visitor’. “ Are you early for something? ” A polite enough question, if it hadn’t been punctuated with a hard click of their tongue.
everything ending in 5 !!
Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
yamato is almost obsessively neat; he spent most of his formative years in a barracks type situation, shared space, so he doesn’t have a whole lot of stuff in general to make his home/workspace cluttered. when he’s home he makes sure to dust and do his laundry and keep up with the dishes, and he showers at night before he goes to sleep.
Biggest and smallest short term goal?
i’ll consider this a short term goal, but on the small-side we’ll say learning to bake? he’s never really had the time for it, so it’s been a goal for a WHILE, but it’s something he would like to learn soon.
as for the biggest, we’ll say ‘staying alive’, and call that a short term goal simply because when you’re a ninja, you gotta take that shit one day at a time.
How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
it’s really dependent on the time period in his life. as kinoe, he sees himself dead or continuing to serve danzo. as tenzo, he sees himself dead or continuing to serve in anbu, and as yamato he sees himself dead or continuing to babysit team kakashi (or back in the shadow of anbu, and he’d never admit it but that’s not what he wants for himself when he’s out). after retirement? who knows. maybe a carpenter.
What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?
honestly? i dont think he finds anything he enjoys to be a waste of time. gardening, architecture, and working are all useful, and getting fucked up and stuff is something harmless and fun that he does when it wont interfere with his job, so like... where’s the waste? to him, if he’s enjoying himself, there isn’t one.
Superstitions or views on the occult?
i wouldn’t consider him superstitious at all, and i think he finds the whole thing a little... silly. that being said, he also believes in being good to nature so that it’s good to you, but like... i dunno. if someone tries to scare him with tales of ghosts or demons he’s always just like ‘yeah sure bud’.
@seineijashu like for a starter
“Yo, Orochimaru! Did you read my book? Isn’t it wonderful?“
