Not enough people are talking about this, and the people who are talking about it arent taking it seriously. Please Tumblr watch and share this!!! The CEOS of Kaiser Permanente are attempting to cut the wages and benefits to workers and raise prescription prices to fill the pockets of the CEOS. This hospital which started out as a nonprofit for the people hospital is now becoming like every other hospital, more concerned with making money than caring for patients!!!
This wasnt the only protest to happen today, there was one in Los Angeles and I think a couple of other cities. If you attended any of these or if you also know what's been going on please share and add to this post!!!!

COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY FOR THE ED FUND
The Education Fund is a collaboration between healthcare unions and employers to provide training for workers. More than 90,000 workers are eligible for benefits, but due to poor visibility, the Education Fund has only reached 7,000 annual users in ten years. Through numerous interviews with staff, clients, vendors, and organizational partners as well as persona workshops and meetings, I created a comprehensive communications strategy for the Education Fund.
The National Union of Healthcare Workers has accused rival union SEIU-UHW and Sutter Health of distributing the “false, coercive messages” prior to an election at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.
