As Gold teetered near the lakes edge, she anxiously cupped her hands together as she stared right into the water. It seemed as though the days only dragged on longer for her and she only ever became worried-- Never at peace.
She found herself yearning for the company of Silver and the professor. They were such positive and delightful people, even in the worst or dimmest of times. They always gave a feeling of reassurance as well as quelling much of her anxiety. She wasn’t even sure what she would do without either of them.
It was then that she felt it.
His power and energy emerging through the portal.
She spun around looking at exactly where Silver was, until she realized the rift was opened several meters to her left.
The Tenrec’s ears perked up a little as her bright blue eyes nearly begin to water from her joy and excitement. She then rushed forward to greet the hedgehog, nearly stumbling as she did so.
