Ok, soooooo I need some advise from y'all cosplayers out there!

Everytime I'm on a con I see all these beautiful men, women and everything in between. All I want to do is to take some pictures, BUT I'm extremely shy and don't have the guts to ask a stranger for a picture. 

The thing is I can sometimes end up being kinda stalkerish and that ain't good, is it? I know I need to respect their privacy, but I can't make myself go up and talk to them...
