BELGRADE - Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic met with representatives of the World Bank, Tony Verheijen, Head of the World Bank Office in Serbia, as well as Klaus Decker, leader of the project supporting judicial reforms in Serbia.
Serbia: Justice minster meets with Hague Tribunal officials
Serbian Justice Minister Nikola Selaković met with Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz on Thursday to discuss further cooperation.
On Friday, he will also visit Serbian citizens in the Hague Tribunal detention unit in Scheveningen who are being tried for war crimes committed in the territory of former Yugoslavia. Selaković will be the first Serbian justice minister to visit Serbian citizens who await verdicts for war crimes in the former Yugoslavia. He should visit Ratko Mladić, Dragoljub Ojdanić, Radovan Đorđević, Radovan Karadžić, Zdravko Tolimir, Vinko Pandurević, Vlastimir Đorđević, Nikola Šainović, Sreten Lukić, Nebojša Pavkovića, Vladimir Lazarević and Franko Simatović. A visit to Serb Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Šešelj is not planned.
