I started watching Killjoys after all your posts on my dash (and that it's fully streaming on SyFy instead of Hulu). I've seen bits and pieces in gifsets so I'm just ???? how do they get from here to there? Dutch and Johnny are great but I love Lucy the most. She's a good ship.
Oh man!!! PSA, friends, apparently Killjoys is streaming on SyFy! The SyFy player is kind of trash, or at least I’ve found it so, but perhaps you will have better luck.
Lucy is the BEST ship, and she keeps on hanging around and being snarky and bantering with Johnny, never fear! More sci fi shows need ships with personalities, really.
As for the “how do they get from here to there” ... look. Season one of this show makes some level of coherent sense, and it implies things about the rest of the series that simply do not come. There was a big pivot with s2 (and even more in s3) into a less political and more wild and bonkers science fiction plot. It’s not, to reassure you, a show like Merlin where I wish it had just been canceled after one season, but it certainly ends up haring off in unexpected directions. And also, as time goes on, there’s no status quo that lasts more than two or three episodes at most, so even in fifty episodes, they have time to go to a LOT of weird places that other shows might not get to in a hundred.
With Killjoys, it has always been that I don’t watch for the plot but for the relationships between the characters. There are plot holes and dropped threads, but the characters, at least, stay true.

even my adblockers didn’t stop the autoplay–it would play even though the ad was nowhere to be seen and couldn’t be stopped. xkit had to add a new feature to the anti-capitalism extension for the audio to stop–terminate audio sidebar ads with extreme prejudice.
I have that installed and that box checked and I’m still getting autoplay ad audio, just like you’re describing. No video anywhere to be seen but very loud audio.

i just finished my pacifist run. so many tears. i don't want to reset, everyone's happy and i want to leave it that way. but no mercy run...
if you want to see everything, you’ll have to do it. you can always play through pacifist again and get the happy ending you want once more.
(a word of advice, though- on your no mercy run, you may want to reset just before you meet asgore- even if it means losing some of the backstory. if you like your happy ending as it is, that is. fighting asgore on no mercy is a point of no return in more ways than one.)
