for a six-year-old, christmas was exciting. very exciting. while she had some pocket money, aquarius had told her not to spend any money on presents, leaving ayse with ... limited options. for aries, she had made a bracelet and she had painted a picture. it was not much, but it was the thought that counted, right? at least this was what the adults had said. "aries?" she shyly pushed the present into the others direction. "for you."
AYSE was a sweet girl & aries didn’t think there was anything she was more determined to do in life than ensure Ayse faced as little harm as possible. she’d already lost so much, more than she really knew yet aries was sure, but Aquarius had ensured that Ayse wounldn’t have to face the same childhood that aries had && just the thought of it made her so, so, proud of the family that she got to be a part of.
SO she took Ayse’s gift with a gentle hand &&& made sure to admire the handmade bracelet & painting with visible awe. encouragement went a long way && aries was more than happy to offer as much of it as she could, whenever she could.
KNEELING, making sure she was eye level with ayse, aries offered the girl her most pleased smile. “thank you very much, ayse.” she said, holding her wrist up for inspection, “I love it so much, I’m never ever taking it off & I am going to get this painting framed. It’s so beautiful!”
