Spent this week on making a bunch of faux oldschool anime screencaps. Had a blast making these, I’m especially happy with the background in the third one. I’ll probably keep making these, so look forward to more of these in the future!

Been a while since I started this series of oldschool anime screencaps so I figured it's high time we did another compilation of all the pictures so far~

Did some hand studies today with different poses and characters to explore some of the variety in looks and postures. Was actually a lot of fun, I might do more of these in the near future!

Recently went on an extensive Japan trip and discovered my love for copic markers there lmao. I did a couple drawings and it's been incredibly fun!

Woah, another finished piece right before christmas! Really loved this drawing by Gurepyon so I asked if I could use it as a reference for my own version - and got permission to do so. 🤗

Thanks again, Gure, you're the best!! Was really fun to draw Selet and Marin like this.

Now that I've got a decent enough pipeline to create an oldschool anime effect for characters, I guess I'll have to learn to paint environments and scenes. Uh-oh...
