こんにちは (Konnichiwa)!
I can’t speak Japanese yet, but I am starting to learn! This blog is my designated space for learning Japanese. I’ll be making posts and reblogging whatever resources I use as I learn about it. It’ll be slow going in the beginning, but once I graduate college it’ll pick up more. I would like to go teach English abroad in Japan and I hope to be able to learn some Japanese while I am there. Before going I would like to at least familiarize myself with hiragana and katakanna, as well as basic vocabulary. So...if you’re a beginner like me, maybe the resources I share can be helpful? If you’re not a beginner, but have resources that would be useful feel free to send them my way or strike up a conversation!
I will also be posting things relating to Japanese culture here and may or may not detail some of my progress towards exploring a position teaching abroad/obtaining one. I have not decided if I want to make a separate blog for that one yet though, so perhaps I’ll start posting here and migrate that topic elsewhere later on.
Photos I didn't take in the rain
All week we've been promised sunshine and warmth this weekend.... what we got was a lot of rain. I wanted to walk up the Malago, and explore it - but it's really not the day for it, and my knee is still really sore - so instead we walked across the harbour, and up to Clifton via the zigzag paths. It was too wet for the photos of my dreams, what I wanted to shoot, but didn't, included:
Welcome..
Well hello to all my hundreds of followers, I know you all must be DYING to know what this blog is all about... (awkward)
For my PDP (or "Personal Development Programme" for those who don't know) in Introduction to Production I shall be updating this wonderful new blog with lots of lovely information from my seminars, tutors and my general interests. This WILL/SHOULD include lots of great targets that I aim to achieve as I "Aspire to Excellence" in the words of Stella Cotterll (a very influential character on our course so I am told.) I believe with the combination of Film Studies and my vast (little) knowledge of the subject, this blog will reign supreme and It will be interesting to read... Hopefully.
