Hc that Nicky actually can’t open up to any of the foxes cause he feels like his problems aren’t actually as bad and he’s not really used to going this long without venting to someone because his youth group wasn’t actually all that bad like yes they were homophobic but the youth pastor was nice and no one ever told the guys that they weren’t allowed to be upset or have feelings like those stereotypical movies and he tries he really tries but whenever he says something it comes out lighthearted like a joke or he says it drunk, crying, sobbing, his voice breaking as he cracks open his heart but no one is even listening cause they know he’s a weepy drunk and Andrew doesn’t care about anything and Aaron doesn’t give a crap about Nicky and there’s always a gap between the monsters and the upperclassmen no matter what and the monsters don’t care about him so he’s just alone
