Things I'd be happy to receive: Femslash, het, melancholy ambience, family (especially parent-child relationships), complicated relationships, unusual fic/art formats, holiday stories, discussion and examination of religion and religious faith, hope, fluff, angst, stories, unreliable narrators, music, worldbuilding, deserts, nugs.

Things I'd prefer not to receive: Issuefic, asexual headcanons, autistic headcanons, trans headcanons, stories where religious characters are treated as stupid or naive by the narrative (as opposed to by individual characters for whom it would be IC) for their beliefs.

I have no triggers and will not be upset if you choose to include violence (including sexual violence), character- and world-appropriate slurs, death, sex scenes, or anything else you might be unsure about.

Playthroughs: Idea from my buddy, tanya.  If you want to borrow from my playthroughs to fill your Inquisitor or Warden slots, please feel free to use any of these guys.  Jennet, Kier, Thayes, and Snare are my main squeezes these days, but lbr, I love all of 'em.

Additionally, I'm familiar with the supplementary materials; while the comics are my favourite, I won't be lost if you throw in tie-in novel stuff.

Prompts: 

1. Maevaris Tilani

Mae is, bar none, my favourite Dragon Age character in the entire franchise and has been since I read the comics for the first time back in 2013! I love her so much that you could have her just sitting around and looking fabulous for 1000 words or a picture and I'd still love it. I'd love to hear/see about her work as a magister (and the reform group!), an adventure she goes on in Tevinter, what she does for fun, what her impressions of Ferelden and Orlais might be if she visited the Inquisition, or anything else you can think of! Thorold, Varric, and Dorian are all welcome to show up, too, since I love her relationships with all of them. I love old Hollywood, so any and all Mae West references are welcome.  I'd prefer not to receive fic where Mae is shipped with someone other than Thorold.

Special note: For personal reasons, I would prefer you wrote/drew Mae's gender identity similarly to how it's written in the comics--which is to say, certainly a part of her but not her only characteristic. I would strongly prefer not to receive fic or art that focuses heavily on the fact that she's trans.

2. Dagna

Dagna is so charming! I love her good cheer and sense of humor as well as her determination and hardworking attitude. I'd love to see slices of her life with the Circle, her first days aboveground, how she relates to her father and other Orzammar dwarves now that she's become a surfacer, her impressions of the Inquisition, what it's like to work enchantments, what she does with the knowledge she gains from looking through the Inquisitor's Fade scraps, what she's like with a few pints in her, or anything else that strikes your fancy! If you want to throw in some femslash, that's fine with me! (How cute would she and Lace Harding be? I'm just saying.)

3. Morrigan

My favourite aspects of Morrigan are her roles as daughter and mother--the way she's so thoroughly shaped by her sense of family, and how that's not necessarily a good thing. If you want to write about/make art of  Morrigan's relationship with Flemeth or Kieran (or both!), I'd be totally down with that. If not, I'd also be interested in something with her set pre-Origins (every time she tells you a story from her early life, it sounds fascinating, you could totally expand any of those), her sometimes-combative interactions with Leliana, her adventures in between Origins and Inquisition, her experiences in Orlais, her impressions of Skyhold, what she's going to do once she leaves the Inquisition, or whatever else comes to mind for you! I don't really have any Morrigan femslash ships, unfortunately (I ship her and my warden, Kier, pretty hard, whoops), but if you want to try and convince me, I'm open to it.

4. Fiona

Fiona's my second-favourite Dragon Age character! (Well, she ties for second with Alistair. I have Theirin Problems bad, friend.) The thing I want more than anything in the world is to see her reunited with her baby--I'm still heartbroken over the fact that it doesn't happen in Inquisition. So if you want to do a reunion, whether happy, angsty, or a mix, I'd love it! Another thing I've been thinking about lately is that, if you kill Alistair in DAI, Fiona disappears without a word after you have a sad conversation with her about him. So where does she go, and what does she do? I'd love to hear/see your thoughts! If neither of those are pinging you, I'd also love something from her childhood or teen years (as long as you don't write/make art with the intent to titillate, you don't have to worry about dancing around the uglier aspects of her life) or anything else you can think of! I'll read her doing anything, let's be real here.

so let me just say that right now i'm reading i stay near you: one story in three by m.e. kerr, and it is exactly the kind of story i want to write in this world.

(if m.e. kerr's name isn't familiar to you, one of her other pen names might ring a bell: in addition to writing young adult literature, she pretty much created lesbian pulp fiction back when she wrote as vin packer in the 1950s.)

i don't really use you anymore (pretty much everything that gets posted was reblogged without looking at my dash), and i'm sorry about that, dudes.  i miss some of you horribly, but life without using tumblr in-depth is a healthier one for me.

couple of updates from my life, because i seriously feel shitty about not talking to some of you guys at all:

broke my ankle in a bunch of places (fuc kyeah spiral fractures), had surgery on it, getting around on a fucking scooter for the foreseeable future.  there are eight screws in my ankle right now it is fucking bananas.

HOLY SHIT DRAGON AGE.  i can actually play inquisition without getting fucking sick it's amazing.  MY INQUISITOR IS CURRENTLY ROMANCING JOSEPHINE THEY ARE PERFECT TOGETHER.

still in library school, still a loser with two cats, pretty much everything you might expect.
