Day “I don’t even know” of lockdown - 11/06/2020
It’s been far too long tumblr, let me explain what i’ve been up to.
So things have been wild - i stopped blogging while I was at my boyfriends because i wanted to focus more on him. I honestly have never felt more in love with him than when i was there. Then, eventually, lockdown lasted longer than we thought.. and I had to leave. I’m now back home. On top of that everything around the BLM awareness and the death of George Floyyd has been devastating. I’ve been extremely stressed out to be honest and taking some time for myself. I attended a protest with my roommate and her girlfriend (now, I’m sick of explaining myself for this, but for the sake of the blog, I will). The protest was very well socially distanced, and filtered masks were handed out (although we already had our own). As well as this, we regularly hand sanitised with 80% alcohol hand sanitiser throughout the day and after the protest. I believe this protest, despite being a mass gathering and a risk in terms of covid was very important and I was happy to risk my own health for the sake of this cause. Knowing that the danger is not only to myself but also in case I have covid without symptoms, I still weighed up that the protest was more important than the risk that may have still been even through all our precautions. This is a one time opportunity to fight for black rights. Despite how horrible it is, we are lucky for the deaths that have been released, especially George’s to be a catalyst in this movement.
Also, for the first time in forever I was able to go out with my roommate and her girlfriend and board a bus. We had an amazing day and even went into the coop and got the accidently vegan custard donuts. It was just. the best. day. ever.
Anyway, I had a hard night last night and decided it was time for an update.

ByeBye~
Aaaaaaaand I’m back
Just a quick psa, I’m alive, just busy with life
So I’d translated this extract from a short letter today. And all I have to say is- Russian Romantics are a huge Mood. Gogol’ especially.
Today’s huge mood and how I generally interact with children is Peter I lifting up baby Louis XV
May just be me, but Elton John hits different when you’re stressed and alone
Not to be a student Nihilist but does anyone want to overthrow the system 👉🥺👈
