if anyone wants it.. i did a shoddy scan of the transformers one art book so anyone can skim thru it and read abt their blorbos and the stuff that went into the movie.
i'm gonna try and do a better scan LATER, but i need to figure out.. how, first, since this book's not Letter Sized and thus doesn't fit on my actual scanner and probably won't fit in the scanner wands i have.

i'm thinking of hosting a mastodon server for transformers roleplay characters (aka it's a social media that's exclusively In Character), but i don't know if there's any INTEREST or CARE abt doing this
so i'm asking to see if anyone would join.
if there's any details that might change ur mind, let me know! i'm still fleshing out the concept (with deets under the read more).
(the 'charging money' thing is me figuring out how to balance the cost of hosting without depleting my own personal funds, and also i figure if ppl can volunteer to pay like 25 cents a month, that GREATLY helps with my fees)

i wouldn't be able to moderate every interaction close enough to be able to allow minors on the site and make sure they're safe.
i would NOT be doing anything with IDs or faces. the verification system would be "you supply me with your other social media that says ur 18+ (or doesn't say/suggest you're Younger), and then send me 25 cents to show ur old enough to have a credit card/monetary availability." YES kids will find a way around this, but kids will find a way around ANY system, so. let me know what i could do better.
i choose mastodon because i like the concept of having an instance for it*, where people have to agree to rules (no bestiality ships, no pedophilic ships, etc) to join, so everyone can know that anyone else in the instance is vetted and safe to interact with.
*mastodon instances are basically like.. if i buy the domain "thelostlight.org", then every acct that signs up for my instance would be "[email protected]". then people could see from a glance you're from this instance and it'd be a lot easier to identify. also mastodon allows like 3 dashboards- one for ppl u follow (the dash u curate), one for the Whole instance (so everyone who signs up automatically can just see what everyone else is doing), and one for all the instances that interact with ours (in case there are other roleplay instances out there, or for reblogging purposes, or etc). there's also Read Mores available on this site, and the ability to limit who sees your post (so if u don't want the whole instance to see what ur blogging, u can limit it to ur followers or even just the ppl u @'d in ur post).
but like Livejournal/Dreamwidth used to (maybe still does?) have RP Games people can join, where it puts characters in the same setting to interact with each other? and i think this might be similar. though it'd be all "online", where like.. instead of prose where u'd talk abt ur char walking up to a bar, the scenario would be that ur char has a magic cellphone/communication device that has interdimensional functionality. DUPLICATES of the same character would be allowed.
