Getting into practicing Chinese characters for fun. Does anyone ever feel self conscious when practicing? Like, the characters are so elegant and I feel like my penmanship is lacking. Like, is my writing even legible?

Entry #4: 5 Self-Care Practices I’ve Tried

I thought it would be good to write down from self-care practices I have been doing during the quarantine in case anyone else would be interested. If you have any self-care practices you’d like to share, then please let me know!
1) Working out - It’s been important to me to continue taking care of my health during this time, so working out to videos on Beach Body, Zumba, and Richard Simmons has helped me try to keep my body active.
2) Going on walks outside - It’s important to get some fresh air, even if it’s a stroll around the neighborhood.
3) Drinking more water - I’ll admit that there are some days I haven’t been the best about this. However, I know it’s important to keep my body hydrated. Water has a lot of benefits for our bodies that I pretty much only drink water and coffee now. Coffee is life, I’m not giving that up haha.
4) Spending time with loved ones - I’ve been making it a point to spend more time with my family. I live in the same house as my parents, so I’m not putting them at risk by visiting. However, this quarantine has allowed me the opportunity to spend time with them and catch up for the time I lost last year.
5) Video chatting with friends - It’s important to stay connected with your friends. We need each other during this scary time, so being able to have heavy or happy conversations helps me feel connected to the outside world still.
