I saw a great post about ableism earlier and i cant find it again, but it was basically criticising those people that scream "ableist!" at words like stupid but don't try to correct misconceptions. People are more concerned about words than the harmful thoughts behind them when they're actually used maliciously. I hope I've worded this alright- it's meant to support your response to the anon, but i'm on mobile so typing long asks is awkward, sorry
