Loveday takes some time to pamper Daryl simply because he deserves some soft lovin'.

Daryl drops his crossbow by the door, sighing when he sees her laying on there bed, her eyes closed as she drums the air in front of her to whatever she's listening to.
He grabs the toe of her shoe and she jumps.
"How loud you got that?" He asks and she takes out one earbud, looking at him confused as she sits up.
"You say somethin'?"
"Don' matter," He leans down to kiss her.
"Mm... how was the run?" She hums against his lips.
"Fine."
"You have leaves in your hair."
"Fell," He mumbles, pushing her back on the bed, climbing over her.
"You get hurt?"
"'M fine."
"Daryl."
"'M fine darlin'," He insists, kissing across her jaw.
"Baby it's been three days-"
"Yeah- I know," He huffs.
"Don't you wanna shower first?"
He pulls back, looking down at her with a furrowed brow. She hasn't had a problem with sex right after a run before, "Uh, yeah, I guess..."
He rolls off her and sits at the edge of the bed, undoing the laces of his boots, confused.
"Hey," She wraps her arms around his neck from behind, ""m not tryin' to be mean, I just..."
He turns his head to look at her and she brushes his bangs back.
"Can I wash your hair?"
"Why d'ya wanna do that?" He asks quietly.
"Just do," She shrugs, finger pulling some loose grass away, "But if you're not comfortable with it-"
"Nah, it's fine," He says, not meeting her eyes.
"Really?"
He nods and looks back at her, chewing his lip, "Mhm."
Her smile is blinding and it makes his stomach twist. She kisses his forehead and gets to her feet, "C'mon!"
The hot water feels good beating down on his shoulders, he turns into it and runs his hands down his face, tensing when he feels Loveday's chest press against his back and her arms wrap around his stomach.
"I miss you when you go out," She mutters, just loud enough for him to hear over the water, "'m so used to you just bein' around."
He holds her wrists and she squishes her cheek between his shoulder blades.
Steam swirls around them and for a moment she thinks she could fall asleep against him in the wet heat.
But she steps back and grabs the bottle of shampoo, "May I?"
He almost looks wary of it, but nods, "Go ahead."
She reaches up and runs her fingers through his hair and he hums contentedly before she catches a few knots and he makes a face.
"Think I might be too short t' do this," She admits with a pout.
"Keep goin'."
"But-" He hooks his arms under her thighs and lifts her up, pressing her against the shower wall.
"Go on."
She chuckles but does as he asks. She massages his scalp, working the soap through his hair, her face heating up under his intense stare.
"Should close your eyes," She says, "Gonna get soap in 'em."
He nods with a small smirk and closes them.
"Don' like me starin'?" He teases when she let's out a breath of relief, fingers digging harder into his scalp and he groans.
"Not when I'm pressed against you all naked," She huffs, "It's... distracting."
"Mm... Well, maybe I like distractin' you."
"Why's that?" She asks, "Tilt your head back, let me rinse."
He does, sighing when she runs her fingers through again, "Keeps yer eyes on me."
"Daryl," She smiles, "My eyes never go anywhere else."
"Been hangin' out with Abraham a lot."
"So?" She's just able to reach the conditioner from where she is and she tilts his head forward again, pressing a kiss to his lips, "We're friends, but he's not my type."
"An' I am?" He blinks the water from his eyes to look at her.
"I don't see anyone else holdin' me up in the shower to do their hair," She says, pressing her forehead to his, "'m all yours Dixon."
He hums and pushes closer to her, sliding his forehead down to lean against her shoulder.
She takes her time conditioning his hair, content with their position as she works out knots and snarles.
She feels him relax against her, as much as he can while holding her up, a heavy sigh leaving his chest.
He never knew how good it would feel to have a person who loved him so much they'd want to help him with mundane things like washing his hair. Or how peaceful intimate moments like that could be.
He never knew how much he could love somebody.
"Want me t' do yours?" He asks, running the tip of his nose along her neck.
"Hm?"
"Yer hair..." He clarifies, "Can wash it if you want."
"Yeah?" She nudges his cheek with her nose.
He turns his head to kiss her deeply, "Yeah."
"You gonna put me down?"
"In'a bit," He murmurs against her lips, "Jus' wan' hold you fr' a bit."
He adjusts his hold on her, making sure he's got her tight in his arms as his lips lazily move against hers.
They spend far longer than they should just kissing under the hot water, he lets her down to let his hands wander her skin, just... feeling her.
She moans when he finally gets around to shampooing her hair, his fingers rough as he works her roots.
"You like that?"
She hums happily, leaning against his chest, her eyes falling shut, "Feels good."
"Should keep goin' then, huh?"
Her smile widens and she reaches up to cup his jaw affectionately, "Won't find me complainin'."
He's a bit awkward when it comes to the conditioner. He's seen her do it before, but she's particular about how.
"Just on the bleached parts," She says warmly, "Here-"
"I got it," He argues, pulling the bottle out of reach when she moves to take it, "Now com'ere."
He's gentle as he combs through the ends of her hair with his fingers, working out the tangles.
He wipes off a section of the mirror, watching her rinse off in the reflection before it fogs up again. He glances back at her over his shoulder, securing his towel around his hips.
"You 'bout done in there?"
"You hand me a towel or two, and I can be," She says, holding her hand out.
He hands her one and holds another one open for her while she wraps her hair in the first.
"Well, aren't you a gentleman," She grins, letting him wrap it around her.
"'M gonna go get dressed."
"Oh, no," She grabs his arm with both hands to stop him, "I'm not finished with you yet."
"The hell you mean?" He frowns, "Let you wash ma' damn hair, what else you plan on doin'?"
"Just..." She tugs him over to the vanity seat at the end of the mirror and pushes him into it, "Sit there, and let me love on you."
"Loveday- hey!" He chuckles when ruffles his hair with a towel, "Slow down, would'ya?"
She tosses the towel on the counter and moves to grip his shoulders. He noncommittaly tries to shrug her off when she kisses the top of his head, squirming under her attention.
It's all... too intimate, too soft. Like she's crawling directly into his chest somehow and he doesn't know what to do with it all.
"You okay?" She steps around in front of him and smooths his hair down when he doesn't reply, "... too much?"
"I jus'... ain't used t' it is all," He says quietly.
"I can stop if you want."
He chews on his lip for a moment and shakes his head, "You c'n keep goin'."
There's that smile again. He'd let her do just about anything to him to see it. Even if it means he sits there in their bathroom as she-
"The hell 're you-" His argument falters at the feel of her massaging in whatever product was in her hand, "Loveday..."
"It's not gonna kill ya," She tuts, "You trust me, right?"
"Less 'n less by the second," He huffs, "Don' go puttin' anything else in, alright?"
"Scouts honor," She crosses an 'x' over her heart.
"You weren't ever no scout," He tsks, tugging her in for a kiss when she reaches for her brush, "Y' lucky I like the way yer hands feel."
She hums and grabs the brush and hairdryer, turning it on high.
"Too hot?"
"'Ts fine."
Whatever embarrassment is left from her attention melts away when she starts brushing his hair.
His head falls back toward her, eyes shutting and shoulders slumping, as he lets out a low, "Fuck."
She's practically glowing behind him, this is what she wanted. He's always so tense, so on edge and on guard, it's nice to see him relax. Really relax.
"Feel better?"
He hums happily.
By the time she's done she starts to suspect he's fallen asleep on her.
"You still with me?" She asks and he groans.
"Mhm," His head lolls to the side to watch her put her stuff down. She took her hair down a while ago and the ends of her hair drip down her back, "You cold?"
"No."
"You got goosebumps," He argues, reaching out for her, "Com'ere."
He pulls her onto his lap, her smile widening when she straddles his thighs. She buries her hands in his, now dry, hair and shakes it until she's satisfied.
"Oh, you might have'ta let me do this more often," She grins.
"It look good?"
"There's..." She chuckles, "So much of it! And it's so soft!"
"Oh yeah?" He looks over her shoulder in the mirror and he freezes. He's never seen his own hair look so... fluffy before, "The hell did'you do?"
Her face falls, and her fingers still, "You don't like it."
"Nah I..." The way her smile disappeared in an instant makes his heart clench, "I jus' di'n't it expect to look... like that."
"The volume'll go down when you sleep on it, or... i-it should. I'm sorry I-"
"Hey... Hey!" He grips her arm and cups her jaw when she starts to spiral, "Shut up."
"... sorry..."
He sighs and studies her face for a moment.
"I ain't mad at you," He insists, stroking her cheek with her thumb, "I ain't mad... Breathe."
She takes a deep breath and he smiles, "That's ma'girl."
Her cheeks turn pink when he says that, they always do and he knows it.
"C'mon," He pats her ass, bringing her with him when he stands, "Let's go t' bed."
"I'll be out in a bit."
"Yeah, alright," He carefully sets her on her feet, ducking down to kiss her again, "Don' be long."
Her hair is dry when she walks into their bedroom and she's still brushing it.
He's standing by the bookshelf, looking through their small collection of films, sweatpants hanging loosely on his hip.
"Hey," He looks over his shoulder at her, "You wan'a watch somethin'?"
She comes up next to him and looks at their choices, making a face.
"These all kinda suck. Well," She sees a case that was slid between some books, "Okay, I like Ghostbusters."
"That's the second one," He points out and she shrugs.
"I like the second one."
He puts the disk in while she pulls on some underwear and a baggy shirt, patting the space beside him when he lays down.
"There she is," He pulls her close as soon as she's in reach, letting her settle in his arms.
They slot perfectly together, as if they were made for each other. He presses a quick kiss to her forehead before flicking his hair out of his face and resting his head on hers.
She falls asleep about two thirds through the film, one hand clinging to his wrist, and the other reaching back, tangled in his hair.
He turns down the TV and sweeps her hair back from her face.
His lips linger against her temple for a moment and he finally wills himself to say it.
"I love you."
The words are barely a breath on his lips, but he says it nonetheless.
He freezes when her hand pulls away and she rolls over to bury her face in his chest and shoulder, mumbling a sleepy but sincere, "Love you too, baby."
Rick looks at him in confusion when he meets him at the gate the next morning, "Do have mousse in your hair?"
"Shut up about it," He huffs, slumping into the passenger seat of the car, slamming the door shut. He'd woken up later than normal and all he wants to do is go back to bed, go back to spending the morning wrapped up with Loveday.
"Someone's grouchier than usual."
"Man, let's just go so we can get back," He grumbles, "I got someone waitin' on me."

(3rd person POV)
The mid summer sun beamed over the horizon, just as dawn arrived for this fresh new day; Mitsuri slowly rose up in her bed. She smiled, yawning with her arms stretched out as she did every morning. Her pink to green hair down and disarray as she just awoke after all, her light green eyes finally widening up as her pupils adjusted to the light peaking out her window. Her sakura mochi colored hair draped over her shoulders while she tossed her legs over to hang off of the side of her bed with light pink sheets. With the sound of the sheets ruffling those sweet eyes glanced over at the picture Mitsuri recently had framed of her and her dearest girlfriend. The frame was also pink with some added on white lace to give it a more girly look to match their dynamics. Her lips immediately softened into the warmest of smiles, her heart fluttering as the apples of her round cheeks began to give a pop of pink. Mitsuri looked at that photo every day, starting her mornings off on a positive note.
“I need to protect my Riri!”
Is what Mitsuri would enthusiastically encourage herself with any time her body would feel a hint of understandable exhaustion. The love hashira quickly popped out of bed and got dressed, feeling her energy run through her veins like an electric current fueled by the excitement of love. As her arm fit through her long sleeve, she couldn’t help but realize the gravity of her thankfulness to the Demon Slayer Corps and how great of an opportunity she has been given to protect those who she loved. And more importantly to her heart, how fate shined upon her by giving her such an amazing partner, better than any man she could ever dream of as a little girl.
While taking pieces of her hair and slowly and surely making sure her braids ended up even, Mitsuri’s pupils dilated towards the certain top drawer her nightstand possessed. In its entirety it seemed like a normal old nightstand with white paint slightly chipping off towards the edges. However, Mitsuri’s heart fluttered knowing that inside that exact drawer was a black box.
And in such box,
was a ring.
“Now isn’t the best time- I have to focus!”
The pink haired girl who was the embodiment of sweetness reminded herself she needs to wait for the perfect moment and to not jump too quickly into the most important decision her and Riri could make in this relationship.
Upon leaving her front door her pink sandals crunched against the gravel outside, the sound of locusts ringing in the sensitive sun kissed skin of her ears. Gently humming to herself, she grabbed her sword before heading towards the field of her mansion to begin her early morning practice routine. The flexible metal of her sword slashed through the air like a whip, Mitsuri gracefully keeping control of the metal beast. She remembered what she expressed to Tanjiro after her last mission, how through her life she longed for a partner to be stronger than her own strength she found to be an unattractive inconvenience. Though ever since Mitsuri took on that fateful mission about a year ago, she realized her partner didn’t have to be a man to fulfill that. Nor did her partner have to have strength physically, for Riri’s steadfast resilience struck a heart string in Mitsuri’s chest she never knew anatomically existed. Those sleepless nights in bed where she tossed and turned wondering why her heart was fluttering so much for Riri; Mitsuri now holds in her heart dearly as she knows exactly why this present day.
(Riri’s POV)
The buzzing of bees zipped past my ears, the blue locks of mine flowing in the wind. I woke up early this morning due to my heart rate being too fast for comfort, my excited body not letting me get a bit of rest. I decided that morning I would go to Mitsuri’s just a block down from my estate, to admire her from a distance as I knew on Tuesdays she would complete her early morning training by nine am. I glanced down from my girlfriend training beautifully to the box in my hand. A black box that held some weight. The heart shaped ring perfect for Mitsuri’s ring finger was kept hidden by this box given to me by the jeweler, the fresh smell of the new leather grazing upon the tip of my nose. Wind chimes rang behind me, the sound encircling me as mourning doves sang their melancholy coo above my head. That morning was perfect, but the nerves making my heart race and my forehead glisten were causing me to feel anything but perfect.
What if now was still not the right time?
I decided to gently, with care, place the very important box in my pocket. I kept my hand in my pocket for my nails to click against the hard cover, my other fingers stroking my hair behind my ear.
My diamond eyes admired my beloved from about a couple hundred yards away, suddenly all the frozen worries seemed to melted away by the red heat radiating from my cheeks.
“She’s so graceful… so polite, even when fighting so aggressive..”
I sighed blissfully in awe, my eyelids hooded. I just couldn’t help but curl my pink lips into the softest of smiles, the kinda warm smile you give to the love of your life; very fitting. How lucky I was, to have the sweetest individual look at me with such adoration.
(Mitsuri’s POV)
My braids became disarray as I flipped over my blade, my heart pounding in all types of different ways ! The June level rays of the sun were more so slapping my skin rather kissing it, the beads of sweat becoming rivers as I landed on my already slightly aching feet.
“Well, thank goodness I don’t have a mission today !”
I chimed, hoping my words would also keep my body positive and not just my mind; like how Rengoku sensei taught me ! I closed my sensitive green eyes to rest from the bright cloudless sky, lifting my braids up to catch some breeze on the back of my neck. I took some small steps around to cool down, just so I wouldn’t hit anything as my eyes were still closed.
I hummed a gentle tune under my breath, matching the doves cooing as their wings fluttered against the winds current. I rested my weight on one leg then shifting to the other, my skirt swaying slightly with my body. With a content smile I finally opened my eyes, slowly of course to adjust to the bright sunlight that reminded me so much of my Riri!
But speaking of, I saw her a little far off towards the side of my estate !
“Hey ! Riri-Chan!”
I called out, waving my hand enthusiastically towards her sleepy-cute looking face !!
“She can’t see me in her mind so maybe she missed seeing me”, I thought to myself !
My heart fluttered at the sight of her waving back, the ache in my legs from early morning training didn’t seem to mind me at all anymore as I skipped over to my seemingly bashful partner !
“Mitsy…”
My blue haired beauty softly addressed me while I popped up in front of her !
“Were you looking for me?”
I asked with a tilted head, my heart beating faster than any amount of mochi could cause !
“Just, admiring from afar..”
Riri looked so at peace that at first I thought she might’ve been a bit sleepy- but it seems the sun caused her eyes to hood and she is rather comfortable around me so those factors must have been playing together !
Before I had time to process what she tenderly stated, my light eyes lit up as I had an epiphany this was the perfect time to ask her something !
“Hey, while you’re here, you think we could do one of those late night garden walks tonight? Let’s say, hm,”
I bubbly introduce the idea of a familiar date spot, the one we went to just almost a year ago !
I tapped my lips, thinking of a good time with a gentle hum of considered before my sweetie gave us a perfect time !
I giggled softly, clapping my hands together with the biggest smile on my face as I was just so happy ! I leaned in to quickly peck my baby on the cheek before turning over my shoulder to walk away.
“Wear your best attire, ok? I’ll be wearing something fancy as I just got a new dress !”
I spoke with a hint of playfulness behind my words as I just couldn’t help but romantically play around with her ! I gave a silly little wink before practically sprinting to my front door to immediately fling it open to get washed up and dressed- for this needed to be the most perfect day of our lives !!
(3rd Person POV)
As Mitsuri dashed over to her estate to get ready for the night ahead of them, Riri’s face lit up a bright red before slowly turning around with weak knees and a heart that hasn’t had a break since she first laid eyes upon that beautifully sweet girl.
“She doesn’t realize how madly obsessed I am for her…”
Riri sighed rather blissfully, though if there was a word to describe a more happy sigh she would definitely use it.
The whole afternoon both girls brushed their hair, painted their nails, and scrubbed every ounce of dirt and sweat from training that could possibly come up.
Mitsuri couldn’t help but happily look at the ring in her finger tips as her bubble gum pink nails and hair dried, sitting on her bed with a white towel around her freshly showered body. The diamond’s cut was perfect, and pink just like her sweetie’s haori towards the bottom. She would fog its shiny surface up with the warm air that steamed from her newly brushed mouth, rubbing the fogged surface up with her towel. Sighing blissfully, she placed the ring in its temporary home of a black box, snapping it shut before holding the boxed ring close to her heart with the happiest smile on her face.
<3
Meanwhile, Riri finished painting her last nail, the shimmering pink and silver glistening even under her dim lighting. She wondered if the heart cut of the diamond would be too cliché. But she calmed herself knowing her best friend always had good judgment, and would never let her pick a ring too cheesy. She made sure to put on the bracelet now, so she wouldn’t forgot to wear the first piece of jewelry Mitsuri had ever given her. The silver bangle with its beautiful engraved designs made Riri dream the silliest most softest of dreams. Dreams of living with Mitsuri for the rest of her days, dreams of kissing her under the moon light tonight, and all in between. She remembered the gentle touch Mitsuri gave her wrist as she put the bangle on her lovers wrist for the first time. Riri flopped back, her eyebrows furrowed as she raised her hand to draw Mitsuri out with her painted finger nail in the air. She looked over at the time, gasping as she quickly sprang up to get ready swiftly.
The sun had set, the moon came up in its full glory. The stars scattered across the sky as luna moths fluttered instead of doves across the wind’s currents. Lanterns lit across the paths of the forest while Mitsuri held Riri’s hand tightly. The two of them decided food was definitely the first stop before the romantic walk down the stoned paths of the gardens. Mitsuri’s hair rested in a single but voluminous braid that rested on her whole back, the pink running down her hair to green to make the perfect ombré. Riri styled her hair to have two small braids in the front to pull back into a bump of hair that rested on the crown of her head. The two of them sat down, the place being a soba shop the lovers loved to visit regularly. Bowl by bowl, the two of them downed the calories they lost during training. After three bowls, Riri was done, patting her stomach with a small puff of air escaping her mouth. Her dress she made sure to keep clean, being a silver bustier with lace designs quite similar to Mitsuri’s picture frame of the two of them. Mitsuri happily sipped on the last bit of soba from her forth bowl, sighing in relief from feeling at least half way full now.
“Would you like me to order you some mochi ? My treat.”
Riri offered lovingly with every ounce of sincerity in her words. Mitsuri’s eyes lit up and nodded.
“Thank you so much, Riri-Chan ! You’re the best !”
Mitsuri sweetly thanked her partner who giggled warmly while getting up to order at the bar. As Riri waited in line, she glanced over at some green socks they seemed to be giving out to whoever orders 30 individual mochis. Riri chuckled to herself for ever thinking that would be too much for her Mitsy, once she reached the counter she gladly ordered the perfect amount of sakura mochi. With that in hand, the socks draped over her arm, and a stick of dango for the two to share; Riri made her way back completely satisfied.
“Wow you got those for ordering the mochi didn’t you Riri-chan ?”
Mitsuri chimed happily before gladly taking one of the pink and green confections. Riri smiled warmly as she nodded, putting the green thigh highs next to Mitsuri’s bangs to compare.
“You know Mitsy, they do match the green in your hair don’t you think?”
She asked her lover with rather mischievous undertones, Mitsuri’s brows raised while Riri handed her the socks tenderly.
“W-wow really ?! For me ?!”
Mitsuri graciously took the pair after her baby nodded and held them up in the light to see, her face brighter than the sun that kissed her skin this morning.
“Thank you ! I promise I will cherish them !”
Riri chuckled warmly, resting her chin on her wrist while letting Mitsuri speak whatever came to her mind as she could listen to such a sweet and loving voice that popped out of her lips like bubblegum all day.
Giggling and tapping their dango together like glasses, the two sapphic lovers heels clicked down the garden’s stone steps. Mitsuri happily took the first bite, while Riri thought back to the ring resting in her pocket.
“No… not yet..” Riri murmured, Mitsuri looking up with curiosity. Riri shook her head and brushed her mumbling off, the madly in love girls continuing their walk.
“You look absolutely stunning Mits..”
Riri commended as she brushed some of Mitsuri’s hair away from her face with such tender strokes. As Mitsuri received such affection she squealed and held her blushing cheek with her hand, causing Riri to chuckle slightly. Mitsuri’s long pink mermaid style dress brushed along the ground gracefully, matching the way she presented herself.
The end of the walk consisted of a balcony, a classic spot for lovers to gaze upon the gardens they just walked upon from down hill. Fire flies overhead were almost as bright as the stars, but to Riri no light could ever outshine her Mitsuri.
The Love Hashira held out her hand to Riri, her lovers small hand gladly taking Mitsuri’s.
“Riri… I- i-i need to ask of you-.”
Mitsuri felt all the pent up nerves arise to her heart, causing its beat to quicken. Her green eyes began to condensate, immediately making Riri panic over making her cry and fanned her lover’s glassy green pupils with the flapping of her hands.
“Hey, no, don’t cry ! It’s ok.. infact, I have something I need to ask do you…”
Mitsuri paused and those sweet round eyes of hers beamed with curiosity making Riri’s face turn warm.
“How about..”
Riri pondered, squeezing Mitsuri’s hand tight.
“We say it both at once, to maybe take the edge off a little more?”
Mitsuri clapped her hands together, applauding Riri for such a brilliant plan.
“Look at you being a problem solver !”
Mitsuri sweetly adored, turning around and pushing her back on Riri’s. They both faced walls of beautifully twisted vines and flowers, the pink roses caught Riri’s eyes as she walked over to pluck a few roses off its stems.
“Mitsuri..”
The blue haired girl parted her lips, those light blue glass like eyes glittering in the moons precious light. The moths of the night circled around the lovers, the night sky filled will all types of stars and galaxies creating an array of dark colors. She walked back over to Mitsuri and placed the rose on the back of her braid, blissful light coming from her eyes as she turned around to place her back on Mitsuri’s again so they could admit when they needed to.
“You truly have brought, more understanding and comfort to me, more than any person.”
“Oh sweetie, this morning while training I just could not get my mind off of you ! But well.. that’s every morning for me !”
The two of them softly chuckled, the sweet smell of both of their perfumes intermixing to make the most beautiful of all aromas. Mitsuri’s sweet scent mixed with the floral undertones of Riri’s of hibiscus.
Riri softly spoke up, the fear of rejection underlined in her shaken voice.
“No star, has ever been able to outshine your beauty..”
Mitsuri gasped, smiling while her eyes began to water again this time more gently.
“I have something for you..
“W-what? B-but I have something for you too !”
Mitsuri exclaimed, Riri’s eyes widened before she chuckled under her breath.
“Well, why don’t we share them at the same time…”
Mitsuri nodded, happily reaching in her pocket, as well at Riri. The sound of the wind and the rustling of the leaves caused both of them to be oblivious to the fact they were both trying to grab the same same side of object, making a muffled sound once released.
“Mitsuri..”
“Riri..”
“This object is causing my heart to flutter in ways I never thought if could..”
“I really hope you like mine, just as much as I’ll like yours!”
“Let’s do a little count down shall we !”
The two of them giggle with such anticipation, their blood surging through their veins dramatically.
““3..””
““2..””
““1-“”
“Mitsuri will you become my bride-“
“Oh I just can’t help it- Riri will you marry me?!”
As the two of them both whipped around to hold their snapped opened boxes, the two yearners gasped quite understandably shocked.
“Y-you…”
“Mitsy- I-“
“W-we both thought-“
Without a second to waste Mitsuri squealed with tears immediately streaming down her face, slamming into Riri with the most tightest hug.
“Of course I will become your bride Riri-chan! You shouldn’t have had to worry if I would say no !”
She exclaimed, pulling away to look at Riri who also began to form her own tears in her eyes. Mitsuri grinned warmly to stroke her fingertips underneath her now fiancées eyes, her touch so tender and soft.
“I hope you liked the ring I picked out !!”
She exclaimed, holding the beautifully almond cut pink diamond ring with a silver band and gems creating such a perfect touch. Riri gasped in awe and nodded with the brightest grin.
“Oh mits it’s PERFECT!”
She let Mitsuri slip the perfect fitting ring onto her ring finger, Riri now letting Mitsuri wear her heart shaped ring now.
“It fits so perfectly and WOW the heart !! I just love it !!! You know me more than anyone, Riri !!!”
Mitsuri wrapped her arms around her fiancée’s waist, pressing her forehead to hers.
“I love you…”
“I love you most..”
With that, after Riri confirmed her love, Mitsuri leaned in to give the most softest most tender kiss. The sweet taste of the shared dango intertwined with their lips. Riri’s gloss on Mitsuri’s, vice versa. The breeze blew their hair, tickling their faces with each other’s strands.
Sweet giggling bubbled up in their throats, though nothing could part such a romantic kiss as they pressed against each others weight, holding each other with a such lovingly warmth.
a lot of self ship imagines involve your f/o(s) doing things for you. and that’s awesome! but also consider: you doing things for your f/o(s)! imagine buying them flowers or chocolates or making them breakfast or taking care of them while their sick. imagine showering your f/o(s) in love and affection.
imagine your f/o picking you up for prom. they stand at the base of the stairs, engaging in general conversation with your family as they wait for you to get ready. after a few minutes, the sound of your bedroom door opening can be heard and you start making your way down the stairs. you catch a glimpse of your f/o and feel your breath catch in your throat slightly at how beautiful they look. this is your first time seeing them in such formal attire (and vice-versa) and you love how well it suits them. as you enter full view, a smile crawls up your f/o's cheeks and they admire how gorgeous you look. they sigh lovingly and mutter a quiet "wow," as your gazes meet.
Shout out to self shippers with short f/o's. Imagine your clothes looking so big on them. Or trying to find out a good cuddling position that isn't awkward with the height difference. Imagine having to lean down to kiss them, or them having to crane their neck up just a bit to meet you halfway.
