I can’t believe learning Python is that easy. Like
You look at C++ syntax and it’s like “yeah this makes sense, but I would never be able to figure this out on my own." Like, you have stuff like "std::cout << "Hello World!" << std::endl;" and std::shared_ptr and std::unique_ptr and it's like Wow! This is super interesting and helpful. But you would never figure that out by yourself
Whereas in Python, you can just kinda say it, add a few brackets and stuff, and Python will be like "yeah gotcha man, here's your stuff" and it's pretty cool. None of this double colon nonsense, none of this "ooo pointers and references".
I actually learned a lot of Python by myself, leaning on my experience with Object-Oriented Programming and C.
I love the fact that I keep getting perfect in my computer science class. Being self/book-taught is fucking amazing
