Which one are you, a 10% or a 90% ?

Clark doesn’t see himself as a victim of his circumstances. He claims he has to respond to life and its unfairness with a better attitude.

He built his self-esteem, around his worth, he doesn’t care about other people’s opinions as long as he knows he’s doing the best he can. He only values his own opinion, and that has been his driving force for taking action and not caring about judgment.

He lives by this philosophy “life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it".

And it is good for Clark, because:

1) He is in control of his life, 2) He is a happy (and grateful) person, 3) He takes action.
