Untangling loops
This is an attempt to externalizer
the loops of myself within
an attempt to pull bits of me
from the shadows
To map out corners and rooms
for the parts of me
that shrink first
and then be
barely
Bits of me that need to be expressed
that need sunshine to grow
to flourish
to take on a form
to be
authentically
Then to tell the story from within
to be the eyewitnesses to the underground history of my soul
the hidden bruises
the flower pots
the healed wounds
the scars
the treasure boxes
the echoes of muffled laughs

EMBRACE. @chdwck
Until the last petal falls
Keep your distance from her, unless you like the pain. She to busy chasing dollars to be fucking with the game. $)) xx
Haven't been really hooping lately 😳 but I really need to start getting back in my flow again so I have decided every day to pick up my hoop even if for 5 minutes. I love this little sacred circle 🙏💙
After a wonderful conversation I had yesterday with Staci, about how sometimes as artists we get mad at ourselves about ideas we have and don’t act on, or projects we don’t pursue. It’s crazy how we put so much pressure on ourselves and forget that we are human. So today when I woke I decided to get up, make my coffee and have heart to heart with myself. I decided to forgive myself. I decided to sit in front of my camera raw, fresh from the bed, look at myself and remember that it’s ok. You see the funny thing is as much as I love to take other people’s pictures, I hate having mine taken, we all see our own flaws first. We forget that those imperfections are what make us perfectly unique. Or at least that’s what I think. Just remember to breath and don’t be afraid to love yourself.
And don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself.
