Oh my goodness...there was one story in one of those collections about this person finding a toe and making soup out of it...and on and so forth...it terrified me when I was little. My librarian at the elementary school I went to always decorated the library like a haunted house and would read us scary stories dressed up...it was perfect and she always read that one.
