The fact she was usually picked on most of the time and nobody really ever helped her this was a really small way for her to show gratitude. She blinked at Hange curiously.

"I-I don’t need anything in return. Eye for an eye correct? Just returning the favor…" She smiled.

"Erm… but… may I ask what you had in mind?" Her voice was clearly hesitant as she tilted her head to the side slightly in a questioning manner.

"Oh! Ha, in that case..."

Hange locked their fingers in front of them, looking first down, then up towards Reiyn - then sheepishly away, again, realizing this was going to be far too embarrassing. She was so innocent.

I can't say anything stupid...

"In that case, I was just wondering if you were interested."

Reiyn slowly ate away at her tea cookie then picked up her cup by the handle gently blowing on the surface to cool it down before taking a sip. The slight burn on her tongue was actually a bit refreshing then placing the cup back down. She felt the need to fill the silence.

"Ah… um… Sorry if this is a bit… overboard…? I honestly don’t know how to interact with others like this properly…" She said while fingering the handle of her cup.

Probably not the kind of fingering Hange wanted but. Eh.

"No no no! It's fine... it's just, a little..."

Much. Excessive. In Reiyn's own words, overboard. It's not that Hange didn't like, or felt uncomfortable, or found her annoying - it was actually kind of... cute that she had pulled out all the stops and did this. The cookies were admittedly delicious, and so was the tea, but... Hange had a hunch there was still some strange feeling between them. And not the good kind, either.

"Seriously, the shirt wasn't much... I feel like I should do something in return..."

"I’ll be right back then!" She said cheerfully. Reiyn was then gone for a short while and came back with a tray holding an expensive looking tea set. She carefully set it on the table.

"I-its a mint tea blend I made myself. I brought it from home. Oh…!" She brought a handkerchief covered container from her pocket and placed it on the table.

"These are some tea cookies I made. Erm… Enjoy? Ah… I’ve never been good at things like this…" She mumbled as she poured herself and Hange some tea then settled into a chair. The ravenette reached over to uncover the container from it’s cloth confines and removed the lid, a bunch of strawberry tea cookies sitting inside. She took one between her fingers and brought it to her lips nibbling a bit at the edge of it.

"I... Um."

Well that was unexpected - if this was the way Reiyn was showing her gratitude for her Commander, you'd think Hange had giving her a heart transplant, not a shirt. Admittedly, Hange had started off the counter with more devious plans in mind, but this was... surprisingly pleasant. And probably more fulfilling.

Although, it would be slightly more entertaining to be filling other things, right now.

Hange pensively reached for a cookie, as if the it would break apart in their fingers should they be any less careful. It was just... strange, seeing Reiyn like this. Maybe she had it worse than Hange originally intended.

He mock pulls his hair into a disheveled mess before opening a book and pointing at nothing in particular as he mentions all of the things he’s drawn and seen as if he were them. However, it is all done in the plainest of fashions— deadpan and flat as per usual

“My name is Shitty Glasses. I love studying things. I draw and write a lot and love blueberry tea. Levi doesn’t understand why the fuck I would want to filthy my tea with blueberries. Most of the things I study make no sense to him but I tell him about it anyway even if it looks like he might have a brain aneurism from hearing it. I’m actually bloody fucking brilliant I just do stupid shit sometimes.” He pauses a second, adjusting some fake glasses rather flatly; a still deadpan expression beneath a flat line brow.

“I also promise to never put blueberries in his tea again.”

"Tch. That isn’t the fucking way to ask for a model, Hange. Go ask Nifa or Moblit."

He shifts away from them despite their incessant use of him as an inanimate object to lean against. Their humor does not align with his own. Though in truth, does anyone’s?

They wouldn't. Hopefully Levi thought he won.

"But all and all, I've had my fun for tonight. You are the infinite source of everything that brings joy to my life, you know?"

Hange delivered sickeningly sweet, nudging the back of his neck with their nose. They'd have to be alone for the next couple weeks to forget that; and that's just what they needed, considering the mound of paper work they needed to complete (and had completely ignored to go fool around with Levi for half an hour.)
