I wielded you like I would a sword. My sister. The catalyst for Elijah realising how much of a monster he really is is that he used Rebekah for his own ends. His confession that he is a monster comes solely from the shame that he used and manipulated the person he loves and cherishes the most. Only his love for his sister could make Elijah face the truth. Elijah walking away not being able to face himself and with his hand over his face/leaving Rebekah alone in the room to come to terms with what Elijah has just said is a very poignant moment and it's an important scene for Elijah, Rebekah and their relationship.
He's gone Elijah. There was nothing I could do to stop it. A thousand years before Rebekah, Elijah and Klaus had made a pact to be together always and forever and Rebekah had watched that pact burst into flames when she witnessed Klaus' "death". She meets Elijah in the forest and his eyes are full of terror. She walks towards him and says that Klaus, their brother who through everything they love so much, is gone. He holds out his hand and holds her head while she let's the emotion out. The grief they both felt was enormous and it was such a sad, but nice, scene.
I never for a second meant to hurt you. I know. Rebekah is leaving. She has finally gained her freedom from Klaus. She confesses to Elijah that she never meant to hurt him and Elijah puts his hand to his heart and his voice breaks and he says "I know". That moment was fitting for their relationship. They were words that didn't need to be said because Elijah knows how much Rebekah loves him and Rebekah knows how much Elijah loves her. She asks once again if he would leave with her and of course she knows he wont but she needed to ask anyway. And she realises his place is with Klaus and although the words are unsaid its obvious the only person Rebekah would trust Klaus with is Elijah. She knows he couldn't be in better hands. And if that means sacrificing Elijah so he can stay with Klaus, so be it.
However long it takes. With whatever means necessary. Klaus is in a rage and Elijah vows that he will protect Rebekah from Klaus for however long it takes, and with whatever means necessary. Even if it means sticking the knife into Klaus and making him suffer. He will not let anyone hurt his sister. It's a parallel to Elijah in S2 of the Vampire Diaries plotting to kill Klaus because he thought Klaus had taken Rebekah away from him forever.
I can't simply name five so for this last point I'm going to give honourable mentions since I can't decide which to put for the fifth. Elijah taking Rebekah to the opera was a lot. Rebekah and Elijah reuniting after he had left the attic (their smiles broke my heart into little pieces). Elijah calling Rebekah Cinderella. Rebekah and Elijah teasing each other in the episode where they were in the Bayou. Rebekah telling Elijah he cant leave them and Elijah staying behind to fight Mikael. There are so many. Elijah eating Finn because he mentioned Rebekah.

I struggle with my Elena feelings. Pre vampirism I was okay with her, I understood why she acted how she did even when I didnt agree with it, but the sirebond wrecked her (Though I can’t help but find stelena cute sometimes :/)
Same here! I did find SE cute, and I even liked the 'longing from afar' that DE had back in the day. I just feel like neither relationship is the best thing for Elena in the long run. SE would be the best option of the two, but it still wasn't the healthiest relationship in the world. It was a typical teenage romance.

All of this is true. They've spread the rumor that Kol and Finn can't come back in their original bodies because they were burned up, but Mikael was too, and he's fully intact. So imma need a better excuse.

varrics: I remember when I followed you first (or really the 2nd time bc I followed you before but lost track of you and then you turned out to be the same person??) you were really into Being Human and then you posted about the hobbit and I sent you this message crying about Richard Armitage and things spiraled from there. I couldn't think of someone better to cry about the heirs of durin with. One of the best things about seeing botfa was getting on twitter and being able to discuss it with you :)

I can't believe I followed you for so long and barely talked to you bc you're one of my favourite people in the whole world right now and I always love our conversations. We somehow keep thinking of the same thing at the same time and I always eagerly wait for you to wake up (like right now, stupid time zones). Waking up to messages from you and Kali is always the best. You're really intelligent and have a way of making me laugh and bring out the Slytherin in me, which is always a fun experience :P
sinaxi: my problematic fave. Our conversations the past year have been some of my highlights of the year, I love talking TO and fandom with you. I mean I even get up early so I can discuss TO with you before you go to bed, and it's so so worth losing sleep for. You joining twitter and shading people has been so much fun and I always appreciate hearing your thoughts on discussions. You're smart and fun and you make my time on here 100x more entertaining.
gangstersson: the awesome co-captain of our pirate crew. You can always make me laugh and I love talking OP and gintama and nabari no ou and other animanga with you. You're awesome and smart and funny and I would definitely want you on my crew when I go on an adventure. We've both been busy lately which is a shame, but you're one of my favourite people on here for sure and I always smile when I see you're online. When I get around to reading gintama again I'll definitely keep you posted :P
