While I don’t agree with everything listed the way it is, I understand the meaning behind it. As we get older, we learn the bigger truth. We learn what respect we deserve, what kind of person we deserve and want. You pin point the selfish from the selfless, the mature to the immature; the boy vs the man and the girl vs the woman. And this is not just with what you see in love and relationships. It is in friendships, working relationships, acquaintances... I am definitely learning, as I get older, what people I want in my life - what people I really shouldn’t have in my life. We discover that we do not want to be surrounded by the boy or the girl.
