I can relate to this post. It took me years to let go certain parts of who I was, to give birth to who I'm becoming. Change is made by rebuilding the new. I just had to make sure my foundation was clear of old bricks I laid. ------------------------- #RepostSave @gypsythedreamer with @repostsaveapp ・・・ To do something you've never done, you have to be someone you've never been. I choose to be unconditional love for my Self, so I had to kill off; let go; walk away; remove; destroy; every part of me, that went against that. Habits, lifestyle, jobs, people; I made the choice to do better. Recognizing that the most unconditionally loving relationship I have, is the one with my Self. Why? Because even at the points of living, when I didn't want to be alive; I still woke up, and my Spirit; who I am for my Self; still showed up, for me. Even when I don't want to, I still do. My purpose for my Self, is so bigger than me, that I still show up for me, even when I don't want to. Consistency. And because I show up for my Self, I naturally show up, for others. Why? Because my purpose is bigger than me. And what reflects me? Others; everyone I cone across within my human experience every single moment of the day. Because everyone I meet is a reflection, of my Self. A reminder that I have a purpose, because I can acknowledge you and yours. I appreciate my existence, so I appreciate yours. Give thanks to Be-ing alive. Give thanks to your life. Everybody doesn't make the choice, to live. Everybody doesn't have the opportunity, to live. Appreciate your life. . Back then I was always afraid to be alone, attaching myself to all that's around me, including people. Almost like I couldn't be alone in my own company. This messed up a lot of relationships especially with myself. Around 2013 I finally built up the courage to do it in spite of my fears and left Florida. I ended up on my own and I had no choice but to embrace my solitude and time with God and myself. This allowed me to truly taste the freedom in embracing my own company and it strengthened me beyond what I ever thought before. I fell in love with my own company and for that I'm never alone. Because I truly love who I found. And that's me. This is where I fell in love with self love, self accountability and eventually self respect. This has also given me the strength to walk away from any energy that no longer serves my highest good, which taught me the importance of having boundaries.
