For the ask game, I followed you when you were merrygraysons so my gut instinct was to scream “I associate you with dick! :D” but then I uhhh realized how that might sound to a non-dc fan. Anyway, I link you with Dick Grayson, Gotham (especially Jerome), POTO, and anything Sofia Carson.

4. the armorer: do you have a favorite outfit? if so, what is it? 

I don’t actually think I do! I gotta change that. Hmmmm.

9. the client: if money wasn’t an issue, what would you purchase? 

Oh man, first off, I’d pay off an outstanding debt I’m chipping away at first. Then, I’d help my sister and my parents with their debt. Once we’re all debt free, I’d get me a brand spanking new Camaro (after taking driving lessons again, because let me tell you, you do forget how to do it after a while), I’d either pay for a private chef (I HAAAAAAAATE cooking), or sign up for one of those meal delivery things, I’d get a second dog, aaaand.... I can’t think of anything else.

24. the force: what’s one thing you didn’t know you could do well until you tried it?

Put an IV on a one week old baby on my first try! I was damn fucking proud of myself for that. Will I be able to do it again? Who knows, but bring it on!

4. A film you could watch on repeat for the rest of your life? 

missing link :) it was definitely my favourite and just... it made me feel really good. watching it just made me happy so i could just watch it over and over and over again.

9. The most aesthetically pleasing movie you watched?

i would probably have to go with the nutcracker and the four realms. the aesthetics in that film were just... wow! i was so blown away by pretty much every scene. the locations, costumes, special effects, distinction between the four realms and their appearances - i have been a fan of the nutcracker for the last 20 years and this story, this version of it just... i just loved looking at. it was beautiful.

crow ❇ - do you have a signature accessory? I always wear my glasses (though I really want to venture into wearing contacts more often) and either three or four Pura Vida bracelets. At my old job I used to be known as the nurse with the luscious red lips and the short hair, but I can’t wear lipstick anymore at the new job, so meh.

sword 🗡️ - is there anything you always carry with you? Let’s see. Phone and keys. Oh, and the PV bracelets, I seldom take those off.

THERE'S A LOT(according to my spotify 2019 playlist lol) I'm gonna go with Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac just because it's a song I've been listening to alot recently and I just ASCEND whenever I listen to it, especially really late at night/early morning.

Yes! That makes Martha’s line even more emotional! And the does it need saying/oh she knows lines are so good! Bc on one hand as a fan you’re like ‘no SAY IT doctor’ and on the other it’s just like no it really *doesn’t* need saying and she *does* know bc that’s how powerful their connection is. Ugh. Love RTD.

exactly! i always wanted him to say it but there’s something so powerful about the fact that it’s so obvious that it can just be left unspoken. RTD is a legend and we didn’t deserve him. his season are BY FAR my favourites and he really had so much heart in his show - it was so human and grounded.

Yes to all of this!!! That ‘you made me better’ line is gold. Doomsday and when ten leaves rose (with tentoo) for a second time break my heart too. (And I also love the emotion on martha’s face and in her voice when she’s exclaims ‘he found you’ about ten and rose.) ❤️

YES! and you know what really gets me about that scene with Martha? the fact that in the episode with sarah jane, it’s sort of established that the doctor never really talks about his past companions BUT THEN the clear emotion on martha’s face (because she knows how much losing rose hurt him and how desperately he wanted to get back to her), tells rose that he HAS talked about her - and enough to get that sort of emotion from martha.

when the doctor says ‘does it need saying?’ and ‘oh, she knows’  - it’s true but the emotional pining and repression of it all! @selinaakyle

rose/the doctor

i feel like this was my first main tv ship that i ever had. i couldn’t tell you exactly which episode it was that make me ship them because it feels like a lifetime ago but it was definitely from series 1 of the reboot. you could see that he was really struggling with the loss of his planet and carried a lot of anger and guilt, but you could see the impact that rose had on all of that (”you made me better”), and you could tell that he still saw the beauty and value in life and didn’t turn bitter. they were just so lighthearted and had so much fun together while they travelled and you could feel how much they cared about each other. don’t even get me started on him sending her home in the finale to keep her safe and leaving her the “emergency programme one” message because i’ll be a mess. and then she fought so hard to get back to him because she couldn’t bear the thought of him dying - and she risked looking into the heart of the tardis to do so. i remember when nine regenerated i cried for ages and vowed to never watch the show again because i was just that upset. they’d just kissed and then the show pulled this??!! (small me didn’t really understand regeneration yet) and i loved nine and would miss him a lot. but thankfully i did keep watching and ten and rose continued this beautiful relationship with laughter, joy, overwhelming love, and finally heartbreak. doomsday truly was my first tv heartbreak and honestly i don’t think i’ve ever recovered. the fact that they had to lock rose away in a parallel world because there was no way she would ever have just left him and vice versa, like what kind of power their connection had. and then he BURNED UP A SUN just to say goodbye to her. they were absolutely perfect and it breaks my heart everytime when he finally lets her go and gives her tentoo. because this is a piece of him that she can keep, and love.

clois

smallville was one of those shows that my mum watched and so it was always on the telly when i was growing up. so naturally i started to watch it too. and clark and lois were just so funny from day one! i went into this with no clue about superman lore really. i knew nothing of his relationships so i didn’t know anything about clark/lois but they just came in and stole the show! they had fantastically hilarious banter and they really built up a genuine friendship before anything turned romantic, so that by the time their relationship got there, it felt really natural. lois really is a perfect fit for clark because she’s such a strong woman and, as mera said, she views clark as an equal and trusts him to do the same. while she’s impressed with his strength, she never acts like he’s some kind of god and just lets him be who he is, someone who is every bit as strong as her. and likewise clark sees her for the amazing woman that she is and always treats her as such. their partnership was so perfect on this show. they were always entertaining to watch, and their love was so powerful, but what this show really did well was show them as a team. they had different strengths and they both used them to work together to create a badass power couple. they were in this together, and they’re each other’s homes. (and i’m so happy to have tom and erica back!! i have no interest in the cw dc world but catch me watching all of their scenes in this crossover!) also i’m just gonna leave this here: “you’re not in my way, lois. you’re by my side.”
