Seasons of the Goliaths Book 1 Roster

Lo and behold the creatures that make up the goliaths of Seasons of the Goliaths so far! Quite a diverse little crew of them all together aren't they? Doing their little dossiers here and there have given me a lot of renewed energy to finish the actual novel! Goliath Dossier: Seltok

Name: Seltok

Nickname/Titles: The Devonian Hunter

Size Class: Goliath

Physical Description: Seltok is a strange mixture of fish and primitive amphibian, with a long tail and two massive jointed fins that work both in water and on land. It’s underside is furrowed, like the humpbacks of the ocean. The head is the attention grabber, made of armored bone that has a gold color to it. The top is a solid piece, sharp and pointed, with a more piecework armor below ending in shearing plates at the mouth.

Notable Abilities/Traits

Battering Ram: The reinforced body and bony armor excels at being launched into opponents and natural formations with a speedy burst of movement.

Shearing Bite: It’s mouth is made of not teeth, but of hardened bone. Along with reinforced jaws, this allows Seltok to bite down with ferocious power and cleave through newr anything.

All Terrain Fish: Despite being mostly fish, the hinged fins allowed for both land and aquatic travel long

History of Interaction with Mankind: Mentioned briefly during the only survivor from the Foggy Vales, Seltok showed high aggression in the open lake in the middle of the vale, quickly attacking Charlussa and the explorers alike, leaving little to be found of those that fell under his wrath. Just a golden fin piercing the top of the waves and death. The survivor wouldn’t have even made it if it aren’t for another Goliath, with glowing red eyes..

Danger Ranking: 3. While Seltok will attack and devastate anything in his territory in the Foggy Vales he very rarely leaves of his own volition. Easily avoidable.
