Before everything went downhill with Laphicet, Velvet always talks to Artorius about Seres. She enjoys talking to her, even though she can't see her. (From my understanding) Seres, on the other hand, fell in love with the younger female. Even though she's not capable of loving her, she simply enjoyed being together with her. However, three years after that night, Seres knew she didnt want to serve under Artorius anymore, therefore she helped Velvet escape. She asks nothing of her, except for her to escape. She follows her, as her job, and will do anything to get her off the island. Velvet, despite full of rage and vengeance, she always had a soft spot for the malak. She loved her... despite not showing any of her emotions to her. She ate Seres, and leaves the island. Even if she didn't verbally say it, she vows to use Seres however possible to gain her revenge. She won't let her die in vain. What pains her the most is when Velvet finds herself in front of a woman who almost has the same features as Seres. Although young, naive, and a crybaby, Velvet's feelings immediately hesitated. An exorcist, with a daemon... she refuses to let these feelings get to her, as her only goal is to murder Artorius. As time progresses, their relationship with one another is bumpy, and mixed. Eleanor is nothing like Seres, but no matter how hard she looked, she sees the malak. It confuses her, and she bottles it all up. Eleanor doesn't understand why Velvet's so hesitant about each other when shes always up front with her about their goal. She reaches out, but Velvet refuses, causing them to break into an argument, and Velvet ends up spilling out the contents of the bottle, leaving Eleanor speechless. She tells Velvet she's nothing like Seres, whoever she maybe, so she wants to see her as her, and take their relationship from there.
Then they probably make up and make out. Idk.
