I just got hit by the “I don’t know if this is a valid thing to be upset about or if I am just being a baby” thing like FOUR TIMES in 3 hours and I think perhaps I have not worked through some trauma as much as I thought I had 🙃

The problem is, I keep finding all this great, wonderful, in depth fics, that haven’t been updated in a year or more. I know the author is alive, because they just posted a 50K one-shot in another fandom, and have been posting in another fandom ever since they left me on that cliffhanger. So, the real problem is, how do I ask if they have any idea when the next chapter is going to happen.
