Printed electronics is a broad term for the printing method used to create electronic devices by printing on a variety of substrates. Printed electronics were originally associated with organic or plastic electronics that use one or more carbon-based inks. Printed electronics are being used to create flexible keyboards, antennas, electronic skin patches, and other products as the demand for wearable devices and thinner electronics grows.
