#Repost @ariana_en_miami short documentary film proposal “Seminola, Hialeah” won third place at The Block film competition in Miami last night. It is about a historical African American community, districted in the early 20th century to accommodate immigrant workers to the area ranches and, later, slaughter houses, the Hialeah race track and construction of what would be incorporated as Hialeah.
