March brings one of my favorite conferences: SearchFest (soon to become Engage), put on by Portland non-profit, SEMpdx. This is one of those conferences where attendees from all over the world not only remember each other from year to year, but remember me too!
These insanely smart and friendly folks gather together to engage, inspire, and challenge each other to raise the level of their field every year and I deem it an honor to be part of the action.

Tuesday, Aug 11 was the SEMpdx Annual Rooftop Networking party. This was my first year photographing this event, but I hope it becomes an annual one for me.
The Rooftop Party was networking at its finest: a wonderful mix of diverse professionals – from SEO specialists and marketers to comedians, financial planners, and brewers (it is Portland) – actively mingling and talking, while enjoying a great view of Portland on one of the nicest days of the year.
