Still out here doing great things in the reserves. I got selected to Staff Sergeant (E-6) so eventually I’ll get promoted to the next rank. There’s a big list and I’m in the higher end so it is going to be a while.

Yesterday I attended the funeral service for my friend Cpl. Daegan Page. As I was waiting for the doors of the church to be opened, I looked up and there was a rainbow in the sky. 🥲
He was definitely smiling down on us.

Some things I’ll never forget. One of those is our arrival at MCRD Parris Island. Another is getting pinned with the Eagle Globe and Anchor.

Was going through my box of memories and pulled these two out today.
I don't know if this will mean much to anyone on here, but it means a hell of a lot to me. Got this coin a few years ago while visiting the depo. 100 years of sweat and history. And the EGA (Eagle, globe, and anchor) that was placed in my hand as I received my title as a Marine all those years ago (ten next year, Good grief). I miss it all, good bad and ugly.
If I have any Veterans on here (kind of doubtful, but you never know) Semper Fi ❤ I hope you're doing well in life.
