New computer! Another prompt from @tiacat11 ! Senators King and Wolfe. King (being based off a villain from the games) has a bit more of an important part than Wolfe (based on a background character in Bro Bots, as seen in the screenshot) however they do share a lot of scenes in The Mega Man in the Moon.

Side note: I am in the middle of replacing my computer, and in the meantime cannot use my tablet for digital art, hence why there has not been any of those for awhile~

Here is a quick sketch of Senator King. Perhaps when I get tablet access again I shall color it with his robo-bodyguards, but we’ll see.

For those who might not have guessed, it is not coincidence that ‘Senator King’ shares his name with ‘King’ from R&F/MM&B. I added an author’s note to Cold Steel, Part 2, where he first appears to clear up any doubts (I also cut out about 5,350 words from Cold Steel while I was in there). 

I wasn’t trying to be super sneaky here, a lot of Recut is written with dramatic irony, and it was intended for the reader to immediately connect him with his MM&B/R&F counterpart (dialogue exchanges like Mega Man: “But why would Senator King do all that for me? We've never even met." Roll: "Dunno, I don't know anything about politics. Maybe he just likes robots.” are meant to be ironic). I just assumed this was obvious, otherwise I would have left an author’s note earlier (Then again, I thought Fictus = Fake Man was obvious too as ‘Fictus’ is latin for fake/fraud/counterfeit). Sorry for leaving anyone in the dark! 

Senator King has prominent parts in The Mega Man in the Moon and Crime of the Century, in case anyone wants a refresher.
