U.S. Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.) will oppose the bipartisan, federal infrastructure bill when it comes up for a vote soon in theU.S.
🙏🙏🙏 via @thisisagentace2050 - Thoughts? In case you haven’t been paying attention, there has been an unprecedented push by the #mainstreammedia and government in 2019 to force all citizens to be vaccinated. This #mandatoryvaccine hysteria has so far been highly effective as governments across the country have proposed legislation to remove your right to informed consent. Nonetheless, currently, across the country, there are over 100 bills filed in 30 different states proposing to expand, restrict or eliminate vaccine informed consent rights. One of the states proposing legislation like this is #Kentucky, who is represented by #SenatorRandPaul. On Tuesday, Paul addressed the tyrannical idea of forced vaccinations during a Senate Health Committee hearing. His comments were spot on, logical and rational. However, the pro-mandatory vaccine crowd is tearing into him for it. “As we contemplate forcing parents to choose this or that vaccine, I think it’s important to remember that force is not consistent with the #American story, nor is force consistent with the liberty our forefathers sought when they came to #America,” said Paul. Indeed, forcing people to do things against their will—especially when it carries a medical risk or violates their religious beliefs—is the antithesis of a free society. “I don’t think you have to have one or the other, though. I’m not here to say don’t vaccinate your kids. If this hearing is for persuasion I’m all for the persuasion. I’ve vaccinated myself and I’ve vaccinated my kids. For myself and my children I believe that the benefits of vaccines greatly outweighing the risks, but I still don’t favor giving up on liberty for a false sense of security.” Paul then went on to address the fact that vaccines are not 100 percent safe. “It is wrong to say that there are no risks to vaccines,” said Paul. “Even the government admits that children are sometimes injured by vaccines.” The government has, in fact, admitted that vaccines are not safe and taxpayers have shelled out over $3.5 billion to hundreds of victims who were permanently disabled or killed by vaccines. 🖐🏾More in comments👇🏾#GlobalHealthSecurityAgenda #PopulationCon https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu4Ufx6gLDu/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1qkfci0qcgqci

"I Filibustered to Defend Millennials"
Last week, a Senate colleague of mine said that when I questioned whether or not the president could order a drone strike on American citizens on American soil, I was just catering to "libertarian kids in their dorm rooms." Standing up for the Bill of Rights and the Fifth Amendment was not a political stunt designed to appeal to certain audiences. I took an oath to protect the Constitution and it is an oath I intend to keep.
But we do need a Republican Party that addresses the concerns of young people. We need a different kind of GOP, a party that speaks to the rising generation, who may have unique interests and concerns.

Rand Paul's Filibuster Has Rejuvenated the GOP Ahead Of CPAC 2013
CPAC 2013 begins March 14. But today, prominent Republicans are applauding themselves after pulling off an incredible filibuster of John Brennan as the director of the CIA. Leading the charge was Senator Rand Paul, (R-Ky.). What does this have to do with CPAC? Everything. In just 24 hours, it has rejuvenated a Republican Party brought down by the fiscal cliff debacle and other partisan garbage.
This is proof that the GOP is innovating. Paul spoke at CPAC last year and will be a speaker again this year. But he's riding a wave right now. He is fighting back against a brutish Democratic establishment and is at this moment, beating them at their own game.
