I'm not the biggest fan of the fandom headcanon making Phainon, Khaslana, and Flame Reaver different people (it's fine, just not really my cup of tea personally), but I do wish there were more fics about Mydei and Khaslana--or at least Mydei and Phainon in his "Khaslana" form.
Sometimes, you just really want to read about hurt barely-still-human beings who think they've descended past the point of redemption getting told through unshaking embraces that they're not monsters and are still worthy of every ounce of love the world wants to give them.
Just sometimes, y'know?
