Ah geez… if I had to pick just one thing it would probably be the gender fuckery of it all. I love that canonically, angels and demons don’t have a sex or gender so it’s optional for them. If they want to they can use their powers to literally make the effort to have a gender. And the fact that they can change things up if they feel like it?? Amazing. Perfect.
I like that Crowley enjoys to change up his presentation and appearance. Him being genderfluid is so cool and opens up so many fan interpretations. So many AU possibilities. There’s truly something for everyone on AO3.
Having that as a canon starting point, it gives fans so much to play with and I love that. As a follow up to all that- this fandom community is also my favorite thing about Good Omens. Everyone is so talented and creative and supportive! I love seeing the amazing things people come up with!

It took me a hot minute to even remember a character i don't like because its usually like blocking somebody- they immediately leave my mind.
Im going with Angel BtVS, that limp sock disintegrating in a sewer- was he good looking? For a late 90s WB show, sure. But was he compelling? No. Could David Boreanaz act? No. Could he at least do an Irish accent when they revealed he was Irish? Also, laughably, no. What he did was hang around and stalk a young girl and it was portrayed as romantic I genuinely wanted to beat him with a sock of nickels most episodes. When a friend said, "oooh i like Angel," I replied, "give it time."

Sadie Adler, Red Dead Redemption 2 - right after the cinematic introduction you find her held hostage by a rival gang, her husband shot in front of her and shes adopted into the gang the main character is in. Her grief consumes her becoming rage because its easier and more orderly and has a clear goal - to hunt down and kill her husband's killers. And her soul isnt a high price because shes already functionally dead. Shes funny, shes kind, she plays the harmonica. She hates the constraints being a woman puts on her grief on her ability to get revenge. She helps you build a life and points you to legal work your wife will approve of. She implores you not to go down the path of revenge, of how hollow a victory it is, yet when you go anyway, shes by your side without question. Shes cursed to live while you, still living also become functionally dead before dying. Her voice makes me go 😵💫 yeah alright ma'am SADIE ADLER <3
Claudia, IWTV - god whats not to love. Shes a little girl who should have died, she was saved by a man who was obsessed with his lover and while he loved her too, he used her as a means to get his lover to stay. She grew into a woman still stuck in a girl's body struggling to be seen as an equal in her family, in the world. She helps her brother-father kill her dad, she knows he didn't quite kill Lestat and hates Louis for it. She runs away and tries to strike out on her own, joining a coven where shes forced to relive her horror. Of playacting a little girl every day. She falls in love. She dies as a tactical move of a man trying to get Louis to stay. Her lover is given the chance to live but Madeleine denies them, defying Armand with all that she has - and all that she has is Claudia. Claudia watches her lover crumble to dust in her arms before succumbing herself. She revels in being a vampire, she excels at it. But her undoing, despite her prowess and her love, is entirely out of her control and at the whims of someone who deems her unimportant, or at the most a means to an end. CLAUDIA <3
Buffy Summers - shes terrified of her power, of something dark and wrong inside of her she can never get out until she learns how to wield it. Shes forced to raise a sister that has only very recently become real, her memories have been altered irrevocably to make her love Dawn. She doesnt really resent this. Dawn isnt her sister, technically, but she is *hers*. She raises Dawn, despite not being maternal in nature. She quits college, a pipe dream she had been stupid to hope for after losing it once already when she became the Slayer. She's struggling financially while her friends live rent free in her home after she dies. She thinks she came back wrong, she invented this trope, when the only time she feels anything is when shes having sex with Spike, someone it's her sworn duty to kill. She must be wrong to want him, to grieve being alive, to hate that shes forced back into existence to smiling faces with no thought as to what she wanted and saddled with debt and she still hasn't properly grieved her mother. She finds out she didnt come back wrong at all, it must be her. Her all along. She saves the world with not a lot of thanks and very little help in the way she needs it and she loathes herself for a very long time. Her father doesnt love her. Everyone else takes her for granted. She cannot tell anyone that she loves Spike because they will turn her out and no longer tolerate her. She loves puns, her favorite stake is called Mr. Pointy. She has yummy sushi pajamas and sleeps with stuffed animals. She's fashionable and well dressed while killing the undead and doing an ancient duty she didn't ask for. She monster hunts in a leather skirt. She fucked a house down. She fucked so nasty she changed the fabric of reality. BUFFY SUMMERS <3

Okay but what if you just plop onto his lap with a "I'm tired and cold and cranky so give me cuddles" but you know him he's a pretty cruel person. So he dumps his coat and places his ushanka on your head to comfort you without a word so he can do more work. When he does finish his work he grabbed whatever blankets were close as he slides you off his lap and slides next to you. He pulls his coat over himself as well, before covering the two of you in blankets. He would then hold you close and whisper to you.

So I don't answer every fic ask with hh/wh I'm gonna go with Dust on the Ashes lol It took me a long time to figure out where I was gonna go with it and I looked up gifs I'd reblogged of the episode where I'd tagged their fight something like "ohhh the bakers st group chat was going WILD when these two petty old queens were fighting in the street" and realized having the group chat be present in the fic would help balance and draw out the tension of what was actually happening between House and Wilson with a bit of comedy. Plus I let Wilson be a lot meaner than I usually write him as and had to do some deep breaths like "you're allowed to do that!!!" Which took some time lol
