As someone who handles massive numbers of troops, plans, provisions, forge projects, etc. on a daily basis, do you care to share any strategies for multitasking & keeping organized? I'm essentially a potato who can barely keep four college classes organized, so I figure I'd ask
I keep an elf slave at me at all times to write down everything I say! Or, at least, I did. Eonwe won’t let me keep slaves right now. He did let me go shopping though. I use this nice little notebook and use one page for each day, writing down the plans I have to do.
For example, today my plans were “seduce an elf, restyle my hair, buy a new pair of pants.” Long term, I have the plans “seduce a maia, start a cult, kick Eonwe.” Those won’t happen today, but I think I’ll finish them this week. So I right them down daily anyways, as a reminder. It’s important not to lose track of non-immediate tasks. Back in Mordor where I had to coordinate EVERYTHING and not just my daily hobbies, I’d even have spreadsheets. You know I love beauty. Everything was color-coded. I’ll admit, I spent a bit more time than needed color-coding my plans, but the most time I spent on that, the more sure they seemed to be. I ALWAYS have my list of tasks with me. I mind time. How long will this take me? How long will it take me in the past? Where can I best get it done? For example, seducing an elf. I think it’ll take between ten and twenty minutes, on average. Less if they’re a thot. More if they’re not. So I set aside an hour for that, just in case. What if I get sidetracked? I need that hour. Now, where is the best place? Sandwich parlors are my favorite. For you, studying? When I used to do work, I did it at my desk. I like to keep things routine, systematic, and organized. Even little bits like having your colored highlighters all lined up can help with that. Sometimes not everything can be finished, so I made sure to finish the most important stuff first. For example. I NEED to restyle my hair today. I WANT to seduce an elf. Buying pants is something I SHOULD do. So I’ll definitely tend to my hair. The other two may or may not happen. They’re not as important.
