Today's activity involved creating a rental cat Rails API. This leveraged much of the previous days activity with the added wrinkle of rendering pages as HTML / ERB views rathering than crude JSON objects. Was my first experience writing in HTML and I got the hang of it a lot quicker than I realized. Continued to cement my understanding of the Rails router and overall MVC architecture. Tomorrow, we build of this project so must read up...

Whoa! Was that week six that just flew by?? I think it was!
So, basically, we learned javascript this week and started in using it along with Rails and AJAX. Lots of new stuff and it continues next week with Backbone. Gonna start building some snappy looking stuff without all those pesky page refreshes.
Next week is the last week before we start our capstone projects. Am I in a tunnel, and is that light I see at the end of it?
